Mai responded immediately to confirm and sent a menu for us to choose dishes we wanted to cook, she kept in contact with details of pick up etc We were picked up at our hotel by Ron and he drove us in his tuk tuk to Mai home in a local village via a mushroom farm, a market to see the fresh veg meat and fish then to the village Mai and her family were so lovely and we were given great teaching to achieve some beautiful food. The track off the main road to the village is an experience due to it being rural but adds to the day. At £25 per person for 5 hours an absolute bargain for the experience you get. Thanks to Mai family and Ron you made our day special

What a great experience, riding through the village seeing where they grow the vegetables, herbs, rice, cultivating the mushrooms, walking through the local market, even saw a funeral. Cooking class was fun, ingredients beautifully displayed. All in all a terrific experience in Siem Reap, highly recommend.

The trip was interesting and particularly memorable was the mushroom farm and the local cooking class. The tour guide Ron was very helpful and friendly. Oh and the local cooking class ended up really good, I mean the food and ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Really recommend and will definitely be back.

Ron took the time and patiently explained the mushroom manufacturing process to us and we had fun time cooking too. We did amok fish , curry and banana dessert

This cooking class was great 🤩 Ron came to pick us up from our hotel in a tuk tuk, took us to see the crops, a mushroom farm, the local market... before going to a pretty house to take our cooking class. We had a great time I recommend with my eyes closed

I booked this experience after reading so many positive reviews. It exceeded expectations for our group and was such an ideal inclusion in our stay in the Siem Reap area. We were so welcomed by the family who hosted us, after hearing about village life and vegetable growing from our guide. The dishes we chose were delicious and we loved that we cooked enough for the family, guide and driver to enjoy a meal also. The communication at every step was outstanding.
