Reiseverlauf

An enjoyable tour with a very pleasant guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about Etna. Overall, the tour is suitable for everyone. The hike is steep just in the first 4-5 mins. The pace is leisurely with lots of breaks. We enjoyed the lava cave and the view from the final stop was spectacular!
The guide was amazing. He picked us up at front of our hotel. He spoke fluently Italian, Spanish and English. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about everything that we saw, including the craters, vegetation and rocks. He also gave great tips about visiting the city of catania, including an amazing local restaurant. The hiking was easy, and whenever there was a harder path, the guide helped everyone. We also visited a beautiful cave. We really recommend you bring comfortable shoes. The car was very comfortable with AC.
Super friendly guide who was truly passionate about it. Pick-up went smoothly.
This morning, our guide Giuseppe allowed us to discover the foothills of Mount Etna and its region. It was a great discovery with the family. I received all the information regarding the meeting via WhatsApp, and the meeting took place as planned, at the indicated location. We got into his car. Our guide was very professional, attentive to our pace, our safety, and our well-being throughout the tour. We learned many things about the formation of volcanoes, volcanic caves, as well as Sicily and its geological history. We also had the pleasure of tasting cantucci accompanied by Zibibbo, a lovely gourmet touch that enhanced this morning. We had an excellent time as a family and highly recommend this experience.
Absolutely wonderful! Mauricio met us at the designated location 15 minutes early, he was a friendly and knowledgeable guide taking us to many locations on Mount Etna. Would recommend!
Excellent & very informative. Picked up on time at meeting point. Tour guide was polite & friendly. Really enjoyed the tour.
The guide for Mt Etna was very passionate about archaeology and the history of volcanoes. We had a great time exploring the site and the caves. The tour guide was extremely cautious, knowledgeable and helpful.
Every year I go down to Sicily and visit Mount Etna, which is a ritual for me by now, but this year a surprise awaited me... to visit the Silvestri Craters I had to pay, ABSURD!!!! Obviously, on principle, I left, and that is when I came across trash thrown everywhere; wherever I looked to admire the landscape, they don't charge for that yet, I saw trash, so I should pay to also have a view of TRASH!!!!!!! Sicilians are very good at driving tourists away, dirty and polluted seawater, if you breathe on Etna you have to pay... Congratulations, the right choice to drive tourists away.
Very great, nature-oriented tour in English. Our guide Daniela had comprehensive knowledge that she was happy to share with us. It was really great! Gained a whole new understanding of Mount Etna. Would recommend the tour to anyone who wants more than just a few pictures for Insta. Our two children, 7 and 4, also enjoyed it.
It was a very fun and advertours trip. We had a god time and learned a lot about the volcano and its history. Gabriel was a very good guide.
