Elchsafari im wilden Schweden Tiveden

Beschreibung

⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic elk safari in Sweden! What an amazing experience! During our trip through Sweden we booked a moose safari with David, and we enjoyed this special evening. David took us in his minivan to a secluded place in the middle of the forest. There he built a shelter and made a cozy fire on which he cooked for us. While dinner was cooking quietly, he told us a lot about elk and life in Swedish nature. We got the chance to see and even touch several special things up close: a moose skin, different antlers, a skull and a paw. We learned an enormous amount. For example, did you know that a moose can dive up to 5 meters deep? 🫎 During the slow cooking, David first made delicious garlic buns and then a typical Swedish logging dish: kolbulle. Everything tasted even better because we sat around the campfire, surrounded by Swedish nature. As dusk set in, we got back in the van to look for elk. And with success! We saw no less than four elk, some of which even five. A fantastic ending to a wonderful evening. The combination of the beautiful nature, the good food, the interesting stories and the enthusiastic guidance of David made this an experience that will definitely stay with us. An absolute must for anyone who really wants to experience Sweden! 🫎🔥🌲
Great group experience. David is a wonderful guide. Absolute recommendation.
We've had a great experience overall. An original diner prepared over campfire, entertaining stories shared and engaging explanations on moose and the area's history. Dennis went out of his way to look for moose and made the entire experience fun. We where lucky enough to spot 7 moose, of which 3 Bulls, and would recommend this trip for anyone in the area.
It was awesome!! Lunch, a little walk in the forest, discussions around the fire, and the breathtaking search for elk at nightfall! David is an encyclopedia and very nice! All this punctuated by the meeting of a mother and her baby, and also a fox! My 5 year old daughter has a great memory (even if waking up at 10pm to show her the moose was difficult 🤣)
The moose safari far exceeded our expectations. Even the welcome of our ‘guide’ David was warm and the atmosphere around the small campfire, at which David not only cooked, but also told and explained very vividly and with passion, was relaxed and just to feel good, Oh yes, moose and a fox we also saw:) Thank you for the nice afternoon and evening.
It hardly can be better. David is a dedicated person, grown up locally with lots of insights and giving you this well-being-feeling. It does not feel touristic overall, you get in good contact with the rest of the group and the food David is preparing really is delicious. When sun is coming down the group starts heading to places only David knows - and we have been lucky to spot not less than 9 moose (!) until it was pitch black. Those of you searching for real enthusiasm and for something special that connects you with the Tiveden forest will get this here. Keep on rocking, David!
We had a complete experience of being out in the woods, having a 3-course campfire dinner and meanwhile getting some interesting facts about the star of the evening: the moose. After dinner we went to look for this beautiful animal. But, since it had been warm during the day, the moose took some time to come out of their hinding places. Just when we started to think that we would be the unlucky bunch that did not see any moose, we stumbled on a bull and a mother with calf. Excellent! Realy thankful for this wonderful experience.
Really great experience from start to finish. The safari only starts late, when the brightness drops, the whole first part is already worth it thanks to David who puts us in a friendly Mood with the other people in the group. David is himself great, a well of knowledge and very nice. His sensitivity and sharing have touched us greatly. Next time, David, you'll find us a "BULK" with beautiful woods:D
Momentum safari with our guide David in August 2025. Unbelievable experience. David is an incredible person, passionate about his profession. He listens to his clients, and shares his knowledge of nature, stories and anecdotes. He knows how to quickly put a very good Mood in the group of customers allowing to get to know and talk to each other. The meal near the fire is delicious. We saw six elk that night.
David made it a great experience for our whole family. We've seen three moose. A badger was added on the way home.
