Reiseverlauf

It's a scam; we pay more than on-site, and it's impossible to download the audio guide. Not recommended
I only received the email for the entry tickets after the scheduled visit time of 9 AM, and it was very difficult for the reception staff to find this reservation. Moreover, the price difference between purchasing a ticket at the entrance (16 euros) and booking through Tripadvisor (31 euros) seems excessive to me.
We could not see the apartments since it was Tuesday parliament day. But the chapel is beautiful.
viator is only an intermediary between the tour operators who issue you the tickets (barcode), so that you can enter the paid cloister. It took me 24 hours to ask by email to “weekend in Italy” to kindly send me the three paid and unrefundable reservations.... It’s a nice scam because you can completely out of season, take tickets at the entrance of the cloister, only one reservation could pass, the speakers at the cloister counter were extremely correct and made us pass by having been able to scan only one reservation! For information, Viator responded quickly to my requests by email and a weekend in Italy, rather cooperative!
The ticket got us entry to every part and was worth every cent! It was a fabulous tour and we couldn’t have been happier. Only critique is that there was no address on the ticket and being a tourist just meant that I had to have access to the internet to look it up. Minor but would have been easier to have it on there.
First of all, I never received actual tickets by email, I had only original voucher from Tripadvisor/Viator. Just a day before this tour was planned, I got a message from a local tour operator (Maria) that this tour is cancelled due to their inability to get an access to Montreale on that day. This message was sent to the internal Viator mailbox and I got it just by accident. The message recommended to contact Tripadvisor immediately to request a full refund. When I tried to this online, even though the tour was cancelled by the provider, the text on the screen warned that if I push cancel, no refund will be issued. I called local provider (Palermo) and he again said I have to contact Tripadvisor as they have my money and they should refund to my credit card. I asked him if they will inform Tripadvisor about this situation themselves, but his answer was confusing. Now, I really do not know how to contact the Tripadvisor/Viator help desk to resolve this issue. Please, send me an explanation on my next steps using my email address from my account and message on my Iphone.
Good morning, to clarify, we did not cancel a tour, you purchased a ticket for an independent visit, not a guided tour. We have refunded your reservation because while we can confirm a different time than you requested, we do not want to cause problems with your vacation schedule and prefer to leave you free to get your ticket at the exact time you want. We cannot refund because we have not been paid, you have paid Tripadvisor which you can reach at customer.care@viator.com to request a full refund as you have been told by Maria.
It was said that I would get my tickets 2 days in advance, that was not correct. A day before the visit I wrote an email where the cards went, I did get them. The day of the visit I received the same cards in my mail.
We visited the town of Monreale and its Cathedral on September 3. I believe that using words, if you are not an art critic, is reductive and superfluous to be able to emphasize the majesty and magnificence of this jewel that the whole world envies us. So I prefer to upload lots of photographs to stimulate you to come and visit it and to let your imagination run wild.
Watch out, everybody. Award of 22 euros includes 9 euros fees!!!!! The tour is superb but take the tickets directly on site
Warning: if you only want to visit the cathedral the ticket is free. (Nobody explains it at the entrance ). If you also want to see the cloister, the diocesan museum and the terrace you pay. The ticket is quite steep. Decidete voi!
