We went with 2, 1.5 year olds so had two strollers with us. The entire place was stroller friendly! The girls and adults all had fun! The trip was very well organized.
We did the city tour /Monkeyland Bomba was our driver and Orielv was our tour guide - He was amazing very knowledgeable We did the city tour first it was about 10 min from the port . We went to view a old fort but could not get out of the bus 👎 It the city we did a walking tour from a gift shop around the square and to umbrella street. I would have enjoyed this more if we could have stopped in a few more stores. The shop that was the starting point wasn’t that great. You are able to sample rum, cigars and chocolate 👍 Monkeyland 10/10 so much fun with the spider monkeys Have lots of chances to take pictures and they have a photograph as well. After this it’s about 15 back to the port.
Rafael was the best tour guide! He was very up beat and so knowledgeable. The monkeys were gentle and entertaining. Tito was an impeccable handler. Would 100% recommend this tour!

Orelvi was our guide to Monkeyland and a genuine Dominican Republic house. He was a terrific guide who used humor and was very engaging while also providing great information. Peter, our driver, did a magnificent job of maneuvering the narrow roads!
Monkeyland POP was one of the highlights of our trip! We had an amazing time interacting with the monkeys—they were adorable, playful, and so much fun. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. You could tell they genuinely cared about the animals and making sure everyone had a great time. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend Monkeyland POP. It was an unforgettable experience and definitely worth it!
Monkeys, chocoate & culture! Whats not to love? Shout out to the amazing Carlos and his deep knowledge of Caribbean & Dominican history and fluent in 5 different languages (!) . Tito rocked as our guide to all thing Monkey and kept everything flowing,safe and fun. Thank you! 🙏🏽
