I really want to give 5 stars, but I’m hesitant due to a mixup in scheduling. On the Viator app, our friend’s time had defaulted to 1130 while the rest of us booked for 230. There were a total of five of us.The manager did not want to accommodate us even though there was plenty of space in our class. It seemed unnecessary for her to behave that way until we basically said we would all just leave and go elsewhere as well as let our concierge at the Carlton know of our experience. She then agreed to accommodate us and from that moment, everything went great. Making perfume was a lot of fun. We also used our 20% discount on other items in the store and I love my signature scent! I’m really glad the manager changed her attitude, but it definitely did set a tone not wanting to give a good review and it worries me to recommend this store if we can’t predict how others may or may not be treated. Her assistant was super sweet and helpful. Again, once she agreed to let our friend join the class, she was also very sweet, kind and helpful. Just doublecheck the date and time for your class and correct prior to avoid any problems.

A friend that I met on the trip and I went to creat our fragrance and had so much fun and learned so much about creating a fragrance. I will bring my daughter and daughter in laws the next time we are all here!

Good experience. I didn’t know you couldn’t use your perfume for a week after making it so I am excited to try to.

This was a wonderful experience. Having the opportunity to create our own signature perfume. There were only 4 of us which was great - allowed us to take our time and truly find the scents we liked the best. I would most definitely recommend this activity.

We were a family of 6 doing this experience in Cannes. It was really fun! There were over 100 scents to choose from, and they explained the different "layers" of perfume, how to choose your scents and then gave you the correct formula so that you could create your own. My husband and son did cologne while my Mom, myself and 2 daughters made perfume. There were plenty of options for everyone and you can re-order if you want. Very nice day.

The experience lasts closer to 1.5 hours. We had a friendly lady explain the three different components of a perfume and then we were left alone to smell a LOT of different scents and choose what we liked. She then came back and instructed us on how much of each to add to our take home bottle. The experience was nice and memorable, but I wish more expertise and knowledge was shared around perfume making and the company and in evaluating our scents that we liked. The lady that helped us was also working the retail store, helped us, and helped another group, so she was pretty busy. Another employee needed to be there in my opinion.

I recently attended the 10 AM Classical Perfume Workshop in Cannes, and overall, I really enjoyed the experience. The opportunity to create my own personalized scent was unique and memorable. I especially appreciated being able to choose the percentages of each note for my custom bottle—and knowing the formula is stored for future reorders is a great touch. That said, I do wish there had been more time to explore and review the different scent bottles. With so many options, it felt a bit rushed, and I think a bit more time would have helped me feel more confident in my choices. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have a representative stay with our small group (especially as there were only two of us). Their presence would have made the process easier to understand and allowed for more guidance throughout. I also would have appreciated more information on the perfume-making process itself—especially around how to choose scents based on personal preferences or sensitivities. Unfortunately, my representative wasn't familiar with allergies or how to accommodate people who enjoy fragrance but may experience headaches from certain ingredients. Despite those small issues, I still found the experience to be creative and enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others with a few tweaks for improvement.

We did a family fragrance creation workshop and we were very unwelcome by Suzanna. We were stressed throughout the workshop. Our family time was ruined. We definitely do not recommend this workshop!! TO ESCAPE

I went to the Cannes boutique to create my perfume. I was a little apprehensive about the multitude of bottles and possibilities. Suzana guided me very well. Thanks to his know-how, his listening and his professionalism, I really enjoyed this workshop and I know a little more about the super interesting olfactory pyramid ... a real moment for himself and it feels good!
