Und wenn Sie Castle Valley tatsächlich noch nie zuvor gesehen haben, werden Sie es nicht vergessen, wenn Sie es einmal tun! Dieser ruhige Abschnitt des Colorado River schlängelt sich durch ein großes, wunderschönes Tal voller Denkmäler, bevor er eine hoch aufragende Schlucht aus roten Felsen durchschneidet, die sich zurück nach Moab schlängelt. Unterwegs liegen einige der beeindruckendsten geologischen Besonderheiten Utahs wie Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, The Priest and Nuns und so weiter. Was das Wasser hier entlang des Colorado River betrifft, bleibt es vom späten Frühling bis zum frühen Herbst ziemlich warm. Sie werden die meiste Zeit auf dem Wasser verbringen und sich unterwegs durch ein paar Stromschnellen der Klasse II abkühlen. Treffen Sie uns in unserem Büro in Moab und machen Sie sich bereit für den Fluss! Nachdem Sie eingecheckt und mit einer Schwimmweste ausgestattet wurden, fahren Sie mit Ihren Guides zum Castle Valley. Diese unglaublich malerische Fahrt dauert etwa 45 Minuten, um die dramatischsten Landschaften zu erreichen. Lehnen Sie sich also zurück und genießen Sie! Am Bootsanleger erhalten Sie eine kurze Sicherheitseinweisung, bevor Sie für den Tag auf den Colorado River aufbrechen. Zwischen den Stromschnellen der Klasse II haben Sie genügend Zeit, die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Fisher Towers und anderer Monumente dieser spektakulären Gegend zu genießen. Während Sie durch die Landschaft gleiten, erzählt Ihnen Ihr Reiseleiter jede Menge faszinierende Geschichte und lustige Geschichten. Bei diesem Ausflug handelt es sich größtenteils um flaches Wasser, daher machen wir unterwegs Pausen zum Schwimmen und Spielen. Das Mittagessen findet normalerweise gegen Mittag am Strand statt. In der zweiten Hälfte der Reise gibt es rasantere Abschnitte, die Sie entspannt genießen oder mit Ihrem Guide durchpaddeln können. Am Ende der Reise erwartet Sie ein weiterer malerischer Shuttle zurück zu unserem Büro.

Corey was a fantastic tour guide for our family full day water rafting adventure. She took my husband and I and four kids age 7-12 through fishers towers and castle island. The winds were high and to get down stream took some serious work. The kids loved the challenge. We got twisted on a rock and she got us all off safely! Lastly- rent the water blaster - water battles kept the kids entertained. For kids younger than 8- half day is probably sufficient

Corey was an absolute rock star tour guide. She did an all day adventure with my husband and I and four kids age 7-12. She was patient, kept her cool and got us off the rocks whe. We were twisted up and gave us the best stories of the area. We also did our tour during crazy high winds which met we had to paddle down stream. Overall one of the kids favorite days- a new core memory and unforgettable for mom and dad. Despite low water levels our day was anything but mild!!

We had an amazing trip with Seth. He was very knowledgeable on all things local. He kept us safe and entertained. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting a day in the water. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Mild to Wild River Rafting in Moab! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our guide, Gavin, truly made the trip unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the river and the surrounding area, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. Not only was Gavin informative, but he also kept us laughing the entire time. His sense of humor made the whole adventure even more fun and relaxed.
