Drei Gruben wurden ausgegraben und können besichtigt werden. Die größte Grube, Grube 1, soll 6.000 Krieger (nur 2.000 sind ausgestellt) und Pferde enthalten. Sie sind alle lebensgroß, nach Osten ausgerichtet und in Kampfformationen aufgereiht. Besonders auffällig ist die Tatsache, dass keine zwei gleich sind. Grube 2, die kleiner als Grube 1 ist, enthält rund 1.300 Krieger und Pferde und wird noch ausgegraben. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass die Figuren des Generals, der Soldat auf dem Pferd und der kniende Soldat die ersten waren, die in dieser Grube entdeckt wurden. Die kleinste Grube, Grube 3, enthält 72 Krieger und Pferde und wird aufgrund der Anzahl der dort ausgegrabenen hochrangigen Offiziere als Hauptquartier der Armee angesehen. Die Bronze Chariot Pit zeigt zwei bemalte bronzene Streitwagen in großem Maßstab in einem kleinen Museum rechts vom Haupteingang. Die Bronzewagen sind die frühesten, größten und am besten erhaltenen Bronzeartefakte der Welt und werden als „König der Bronzewaren“ gekrönt.

I went to the Terracotta Warriors and the trip was amazing, the site and the 3 pits are so awesome you could stay there hours to gaze at them. Phoebe our guide was excellent, so nice and so prepared on the history and so in love with her job you could tell from the way she introduced every single details. I loved it! I would recommend it but Ask for Phoebe!!! She is the best with a great English!! Well done Not to be missed. Lunch was typical and good Just the price probably a little too much

An excellent guide who knows history well and knows how to make everything interesting. There were 3 of us who quickly formed a good group. The AM we visited the ramparts and the city what I highly recommend
At first, I wasn't sure which tour company to go with, and I ran across Elena's tour packages Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. The tour was amazing, she was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of China and Terracotta warriors. We spent about a couple hours at the museum and then were headed to a local Muslim restaurant where Elena helped order 2 great dishes for me. She made sure I had a great time throughout the tour. I'll surely come back with my family and take Elena's tour again. 5/5 rating for me!

The tour was absolutely perfect. The Teracotta army blew my mind and I’m so glad that I booked a guided tour and so glad that Lilly was the guide. My visit was during the National Holiday, So I expected large crowds. I underestimated the crowds. Elina and the driver were great, Because of the traffic we got a late start, however it didn't defer from the day. This is truly the 8th wonder of the world. Elina had tons of information and explanations. I highly recommend Trippest Mini Group tours. the best tour group I have used in the past 30 years... The Warriors was top notch but so was the lunch following, great family style to try a couple of dishes. I will use Trippest again. Thanks for a wonderful day. Bruce

I did this small group tour as I was traveling alone in China. There was 4 of us and our guide, Rosa. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was very good. It was nice to be in a small group so it was easy to move about without waiting on people and we had many opportunities to ask her questions or slow down if we wanted to. The terra-cotta were amazing! The tour included lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant and it was fantastic. I would do this again.
We had a small group tour (5 of us) using a comfortable van that picked us up at our hotels. Our guide, Richard, was great - enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Took us to the best locations for viewing and photos. All three sites for the terracotta warriors are fascinating. We had plenty of time to wander. Lunched at a beautiful resort restaurant. We also toured the ancient city wall (highly recommend biking the perimeter!). The other guests left early so Richard gave me a private tour of Muslim Street and gave excellent advice for souvenirs and tasty treats. Highly recommend this tour and Richard in particular!
