Mini Statue Hunt In Budapest

Diese Tour ist ein klassisches Budapester Besichtigungsprogramm, das der Route des ungarischen "Guerilla" -Künstlers, Michael Kolodkos Ministatuen, folgt. Es ist ein perfektes Programm für Erstbesucher, da sich viele der Statuen in der Nähe der Hauptattraktionen befinden. Gleichzeitig ist es ein besonderes Erlebnis, da sich andere in der Nachbarschaft befinden. Diese Wanderung ist eine echte Schatzsuche; Während Sie auf der Straße nach Kunstwerken suchen, können Sie wunderschöne Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Kettenbrücke bewundern und den Geschichten zuhören, die der Künstler uns anhand seiner Statuen erzählen möchte. Die perfekte Kombination: ein bisschen allgemein, ein bisschen versteckte Juwelen.

Im jüdischen Viertel müssen wir noch drei weitere Statuen finden, und dank ihrer Lage können wir das New Yorker Café und die Große Synagoge sehen.
Nachdem wir den Rest der Ministatuen in der Innenstadt gefunden und das Parlament und die St. Steven Basilika gesehen haben, überqueren wir die Kettenbrücke. Unsere Statuenjagd in Buda beginnt im Burgviertel und geht dann über die Promenade.
Hier finden wir unsere letzte Statue und das Sahnehäubchen ist das erstaunliche Panorama der ganzen Stadt von den Budaer Hügeln.

It's a lot of walking! We logged about 10 miles, and it was so much fun. Emi was knowledgeable about the background of each statue...such a unique and interesting outing...she gave us information about the landmarks and history of the area as we walked. She was just the best historian!

Our guide Eszter took us all around Budapest looking for these tiny art works. She peppered the search with history and tales about Budapest. She made a game out of finding the statues and describing the stories connected to each of them. We had a great time!!! I highly recommend this tour.

We spent 2 days walking all over budapest Looking for these mini statues It was a great experience If your not into walking alot Then this might not be for you But we enjoyed every minute Couple of statues had us goin round in circles But we managed to find some of them It's a great idea and a bit of fun Completely free Just have to walk loads Which we love to do So it suited us perfect Suitable for all age groups Just a comfortable pair of runners And take off Enjoy your hunt as we did🙏
Plagued by history, incredible views; Art in every corner. The aristocracy is combined with the working people in a harmonious and subtle way, with the beauty of what was with the process of things to come. I'd definitely come back.

What a discovery! Most miniature figurines are hidden in the vicinity of a landmark and there is a story associated with them. Not only for young children, also for "old adult" children.;-)
Wat een leuke ontdekking! De meeste miniatuurbeeldjes zijn verstopt in de buurt van een bezienswaardigheid en hebben elk een eigen verhaal. Een plezier, niet alleen voor jonge kinderen, maar ook voor "oud-volwassen" kinderen. ;-) We hopen dat de rest van je verblijf in Boedapest ook geweldig was!
This is wonderful. Don't understand why it isn't advertised. There are lots of little sculptures tucked away around Budapest about a couple of inches in size. All with a great little story behind them. Designed by the famous sculpture Kolodko. The sculputers are fun and a wonderful way to explore the city at the same time.

I found a little frog when in Szabadsag Ter and thought it was good and then found 3 more little statues along the Buda river bank. I found the worm, Rubiks cube and tank. I didn't realize that these were from Nihaly Kolodko, a famous sculpture. There are more of them through the city and would've liked more time to search for these. Take some time and search for these when you are there. Its a "Little" bit of culture and some childish fun.
