Unser Fahrer und unser Guide holen Sie am Morgen ab und fahren Sie in weniger als einer Stunde zu diesem Dorf. Dort angekommen beginnt Ihr ganztägiges Abenteuer. Minca ist eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt in der Nähe von Santa Marta, abseits der Küste und mitten auf dem Weg zur Sierra Nevada. Aufgrund ihrer atemberaubenden Naturlandschaften, die diese Art von Tourismus fördern, ist sie als kolumbianische Öko-Hauptstadt bekannt. Wenn Sie an diesen Ort kommen, geht es darum, sich von der Technologie zu lösen und sich wieder mit der Natur zu verbinden. Hier werden Sie zunächst zur Kaffeefarm La Victoria geführt, einem der Pioniere im Kaffeeanbau in Kolumbien. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Farm zu besichtigen und alle Prozesse kennenzulernen, an denen Kaffee beteiligt ist, von Anfang an bis hin zu der Tasse Kaffee, die Sie auf jeden Fall schmecken werden. Die Kaffees der Sierra Nevada gelten nicht nur als einzigartig, sondern auch als exquisit. Sie können sich also glücklich schätzen, sie zu probieren.
Sie genießen ein traditionelles Mittagessen (nicht inbegriffen), um neue Energie zu tanken, und haben etwas Zeit, Ihre Füße auszuruhen, bevor Sie Ihr Abenteuer beenden. Abschließend werden Sie zu zwei der entspannendsten Orte in Minca geführt. Pozos Azules (Blaue Brunnen) und Wasserfälle sind beides natürliche Formationen, die in den Bergen verankert sind und frisches und kaltes Wasser enthalten. An beiden Orten haben Sie die Möglichkeit, sich zu erfrischen, bevor Sie zu Ihrem Hotel zurückkehren.

We had an absolutely perfect day! Everything was perfectly organized. Martin, our driver and personal guide, was simply great: passionate, patient, always available and never hurrying. He taught us a lot throughout the visit. The discovery of the La Victoria finca was fascinating, the waterfalls beautiful, and the restaurant a superb surprise with stunning views of Santa Marta. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and waterfalls. We were surprised when our guide, Alexis, said that we had to pay for lunch. The description said lunch is included. Maybe, if lunch isn’t paid for, the description should say lunch available.

Rating this 2 stars only because of our tour guide Jorge and our driver were charming and made the best out of this situation. Myself and 3 friends took this trip because it was a private coffee tour and we were excited to see the largest waterfall in the area, Markina. I booked the 11am option since we had a wedding the day before and was not aware of any changes that would have made when I booked 2 weeks prior to the excursion. The company reached out to me the night before during the wedding, asking for passport information and explaining lunch might be later. Which I thought was already poor communication that they waited last minute to ask us and plan this out. We get to the coffee farm, which was beautiful but not private at all. We had about 8-10 other people with us on our tour. It made it difficult to hear over everyone else talking and it was crowded. We were then told after the coffee tour, we would not have time for the Markina waterfall since it closes at 4pm. It was never communicated prior to the trip that the waterfall closes at a certain time, if I knew this we would have booked an earlier time or have cancelled this excursion. We ended up going to another waterfall which was small and crowded. After Jorge took us out for an amazing lunch and we had a great time getting to know him and more about Colombia. Disappointed in Gran Colombia Tours. Please do not book a later time if you want to see the Markina waterfall and be aware the coffee tour is not private. Also ask for Jorge to be your guide!

This private tour picked us up in Playa Dormida before heading out for the day. We started off going to Minca and Mayrinka. The walk to the waterfalls was a little cooler than Tayrona but still plenty hot. That made it even better to cool off in the amazing waterfalls. Then, after a traditional lunch, we went to Hacienda Victoria to a coffee tour. It was so cool to see the machines still operating after 130 years! The coffee was very good too.

Super interesting tour at La Victoria with lot of explanations on the entire coffee making process. Afterwards we did a hike through the nature to discover a beautiful waterfall. The great experience ended with a very nice lunch in a lovely setting where we could enjoy the scenery. Our guide Andrea was fantastic: very knowledgeable and super friendly!!! Also kudos for our driver Juan, the roads in Minca are quite challenging :-)
