Unsere Reise beginnt von Papafragas oder dem 'vulkanischen Schwimmbad', wo wir uns für eine Weile über diese malerische Lage wundern werden, können Sie hinunter in das klare türkisfarbene Wasser schauen. Phylakopi, das ist unsere nächste Station, hier stellen wir Ihnen diese prähistorische Position vor. Eine kurze Fahrt von Phylakopi bringt uns zum berühmten Sarakiniko , der einzigartigen 'Lunar Landscape'. Der schöne Ort ist eines der vielen geologischen Wunder der Insel und vielleicht einer der meistfotografierten Orte auf Kykladen! Wir nehmen eine Wand den Einlass hinunter, damit Sie diesen einzigartigen Strand erleben und ein paar Fotos machen können. Von dort aus fahren wir in Richtung Plaka mit seinen gepflasterten Straßen und Gassen. In der Hauptstadt Milos haben Sie die Zeit, die traditionelle Architektur und den atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer von der Veranda der Panagia Korfiatissa zu bewundern. Die nächste Station ist das römische Marmoramphitheater.

Reiseverlauf
Papafragas ist eine Ansammlung von Tiefseebuchten und Meereshöhlen. Es liegt am Fuße einer unberührten Schlucht, die durch vulkanische Aktivität geformt wurde.
Phylakopi ist eine Siedlung aus der Jungsteinzeit. Bei Ausgrabungen entdeckten Archäologen Werkzeuge aus Obsidian, einem vulkanischen Glas, das Granit ähnelt. Dort wurde auch die „Dame von Phylakopi“ entdeckt.
Sarakiniko ist eine Bucht mit reinweißen Felsformationen, die durch Vulkanausbrüche entstanden sind. Es ist eine einzigartige Landschaft!
Plaka ist ein klassisches kykladisches Chora mit weißen Steinhäusern und Bougainvilleen und liegt 250 m über dem Meeresspiegel.
Das an einem Hang unterhalb des malerischen Dorfes Tripiti gelegene Antike Theater ist ein gut erhaltenes Freilufttheater aus Marmor, obwohl es im Laufe der Jahre seit seinem ersten Bau in der hellenistischen Zeit leicht verfallen ist. Es bietet einen fantastischen Anblick, denn neben dem Theater und den nahegelegenen historischen Katakomben bietet sich Ihnen auch eine fantastische Aussicht auf das Ägäische Meer und den Hafen des Dorfes Klima.

We got to see the most incredible views of Milos! Kostas was the greatest tour guide! He showed us the hidden treasures and took great care of us. Comfortable air conditioned van, a small amount of walking, customized for our group.
There’s a lot of walking, but the history is great. Sarakiniko Beach is incredible to see. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about Milos.
Kostas was an amazing guide. He was accommodating of everyone, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about showing us all Milos has to offer. He was easy to talk to and it felt like we were good friends by the end of the tour. He went above and beyond by arranging transportation for me to have a special birthday dinner in Plaka that evening, and suggested both a restaurant and foods to try.

West of the Cyclades, apart from the tourist hordes that invade its neighbors, this is Milos. Apart from the geological curiosity of the beach and the cliffs of Sarakiniko, not much to see on this peeled island, fried by the sun and battered by the winds. Ah, yes, of course, this is where French archaeologists found and reunited the two pieces of the famous Venus that sits in the Louvre... Other than that? Well nothing, except the unique charm of small villages like Adamandas or Plaka where white and blue reign, where sipping an ouzo or a Greek coffee under a dais of red bougainvillea contemplating the Mediterranean is an innefable pleasure. Time suddenly stops... To visit in autumn to avoid a merciless sun. The sea is still warm and its waters are still crystal clear. Regular sea and air connections.
