Wir halten in der schönen Township Te Anau für eine verlängerte Pause von 30 Minuten. Wir halten an einem Seeufercafé, damit Sie einen Kaffee/Snack bekommen, das Bad nutzen und das atemberaubende Seeufer mit Bergblick erkunden können.
Eglinton Valley bietet einen atemberaubenden Kontrast von grünen, einheimischen Busch bedeckten Bergen, vor dem Vordergrund von braunen Feldern. Die Gäste haben die Möglichkeit, die langen üppigen Felder zu erkunden. Schön zu jeder Jahreszeit.
Dieser kurze 2-minütige Naturspaziergang auf gut geformten Wegen und Promenaden führt Sie zu den ruhigen Mirror Lakes, der Kulisse der Earl Mountains dahinter. Dies ist eine Herausforderung für jeden reisenden Fotografen, das Wesen der Seen - ihre Spiegelung - festzuhalten.
Wir halten weiter im Eglinton Valley am Knobs Flat Camp, um die Badezimmer zu nutzen. Diese Haltestelle ist ca. 60 Minuten von Te Anau, unserer vorherigen Badpause.
Wir halten am Hollyford Lookout, hoch über dem Hollyford Valley. Hier bekommen Sie eine Wertschätzung für die Gletscher, die diese Täler herausgearbeitet haben. Eine Fotogelegenheit und eine Chance, die Beine zu strecken.
Monkey Creek ist ein wunderschöner, von Gletschern gespeister Wasserfall/Bach und ein gemeinsames Gebiet, um den Kea zu treffen, einen Bergpapagei, der nur auf der Südinsel Neuseelands vorkommt. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, ein Nahaufnahme dieser frechen Vögel zu machen.
Wir halten direkt vor dem Homer Tunnel auf der westlichen Seite, mit Blick auf das herrliche Cleddau Tal. Umgeben von stufenförmigen vertikalen Bergwänden blicken Sie talwärts zu unserer Route in den Milford Sound. Eines der Highlights des Tages.
Unser Ziel für die Tour ist der wunderschöne Milford Sound, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Wir verbringen 2,5 Stunden im Milford Sound, hauptsächlich an Bord Ihrer Naturkreuzfahrt, wo Sie den gesamten Fjord, Tierbegegnungen, Wasserfälle und all die malerische Schönheit erleben werden, die es zu sehen gibt.
Wir kehren nach Queenstown zurück, über die Gemeinde Te Anau (die einzige Route zurück) und halten an, damit Sie etwas Essen zum Abendessen abholen und das Bad benutzen können.

Tommy was our tour guide on our first-ever trip with Luxe Tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and he made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was absolutely worth the cost, and we’d love to do it again in the future. Tommy was friendly, approachable, and made the day feel relaxed from start to finish. Although it was a long day, we never felt bored or exhausted - it has been one of my highlight trips of all time. Tommy took heaps of photos for our group, shared great knowledge and stories about Milford Sound and the stops along the way, and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for our return back to Queenstown. The bus was super comfortable with plenty of leg room, and we appreciated being able to relax and even get some sleep on the drive back to Queenstown. One of the best parts was the small group size — only six people — which made the experience feel much more personal compared to the larger tour buses around. having less people compared to a tour buses meant the entire experience was very comfortable (we had time to truly enjoy each site and take photos without being rushed etc). the whole day just felt comfortablr and well organised. the guide tommy was also very friendly and his commentary about the sites etc the entire day while driving was genuinely so interesting and informative. would highly recommend

We recently did this tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The scenery was incredible, but the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Adrian. Adrian, was friendly, highly informative, funny, and just an all-round legend. He made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish and really added so much to the experience with his knowledge and personality. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The smaller sized group made it possible to stop at different locations along the way which made it much more personal. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

OMG! Where do I start? First of all to apologise it’s taken me so long to write a review - certainly not because the service wasn’t amazing!! I cannot praise and thank Adrian enough. There is nothing I can write to describe how amazing our trip to Milford sound really was; one of the best days and our favourite part of our trip to NZ. And that was all thanks to Adrian. We couldn’t have been luckier to have such a lovely, kind, thoughtful, funny, entertaining and truly wonderful guide. Adrian went above and beyond for us - with the entertaining and informative info and stories he had, the way he checked in with us to see if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything, the way he never once complained about being asked to take a thousand photos for me, and the way he just made our tour absolutely amazing. It snowed on our trip and I have to praise him also for his careful and responsible driving - we felt extremely safe with him. It was such a long day, but we didn’t want it to end and would have been very happy to stay on the bus for longer 😊 Honestly, this day made our NZ trip amazing. I’m so happy I chose to go with Luxe tours. I loved the way they seemed to genuinely care about the place and their customers, and I was so right! What an amazing day touring Milford Sound! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking - stunning mountains everywhere you looked, beautiful waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, and views that felt like something out of a movie. What a wonderful experience! All starts with our awesome driver/guide, Tommy. Very knowledgeable and friendly person. He took care of every detail and made sure we were always save and comfortable. The road trip portion is full of incredible sites and navigating across the fiord is as magic and it Sounds. I would take this tour again without hesitation.
