Milford Sound Fly-Cruise-Fly Tour ab Queenstown

Tanmay was an amazing pilot, the flight was smooth and we got to see such amazing beautiful scenery, like waterfalls, mountains, and lakes from the plane, wonderful scenery, and such a crazy experience.

True South was an absolutely outstanding experience. Our flight cruise flight was organized and ran on time. Jason was a great pilot and knowledgeable about the surroundings. If you are nervous about taking this trip, you should jump in with two feet and fly with True South.

A fantastic experience; a must do if you’re in Queenstown. I was fortunate enough to sit in the co-pilot seat on the flight to Milford Sound and take in the best views possible: the majestic snow covered mountains and the expert control of the aircraft in choppy conditions by pilot Michael (who was also a very knowledgeable tour guide). The cruise at Milford Sound was enjoyable and the return flight on a different path really rounded out a perfect day. This operator was easy to deal with and very professionally run. Highly recommended.

Amazing day. Seamless experience- from bus pickup to check in to flight to boat and back. Great narrative on the flight from Michael, who made my flight-nervous daughter feel safe throughout. The flight out to Milford Sound was something that’s now in my top 5. I landed in the co pilot seat and the view was amazing. Michael our pilot was first class. He handled the chop with expert control and confidence, was a terrific tour guide pointing out all the sights, and landed the plane like a boss. Would definitely do it again. Highly recommend it; but be prepared for a choppy ride around the mountains and coming in to land at Milford Sound. Rest assured, these pilots are well trained and experienced to handle the conditions. 100% confidence in them.

It's not often that traveling to and from the tour, is the highlight of the trip! We went as a family, 2x adults + 2x teens. Our flight with our pilot Josh was spectacular, the views were incredible, the updates from Josh on the way there and back on what was outside of our windows was spot on. The fact that you each have your own windows seat on the plane, was an unexpected bonus, ensuring some incredible photos. Ask for Josh's plane... while not the biggest of the fleet, it cruises at a speed which allows you to take more in, and get those few extra photos or memories. I highly recommend this trip to anyone considering going to Milford Sounds from Queenstown. The sounds cruise was amazing too, but the flights seal the deal. Book your trip today!

Our pilot Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and often pointed out things to see during our flight. We felt safe and secure with Michael even with some strong winds as we approached Milford Sound.

This was truly unexpected and quite a pleasant surprise for us. We had initially planned to visit Milford Sound during our trip, but unfortunately, our schedule only allowed for a single day in Queenstown. Given the limited time and the fact that we didn't want to spend our precious day inside a van on a long drive, we faced a bit of a dilemma. We knew Milford Sound was famous for its breathtaking scenery and iconic fjord landscape, but fitting it into our tight itinerary seemed challenging.
