Mexikanischer Kochkurs & Cocktails in Mexiko-Stadt

It was really lovely. The market was super interesting, with lots of vegetables and fruits that are not available in the US. And the instructor was gracious and full of information. We participated in the preparation of a wide variety of dishes. And made salsa and margaritas. And then had a great meal. Really terrific.

One of the highlights of my trip to Mexico City. We visited a local market, purchased authentic ingredients, and made tortillas, salsa, guacamole, ceviche, and margaritas from scratch. Great instructor, great food, and lots of fun. I left with a full stomach, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for Mexican culture. Highly recommend!

We had a lot of fun with our instructor. I appreciate how patience he was since I am not much of a cook. He broke down all the steps to make it very easy to do at home.

Difficult to find. Description should include private home. The food choices were delicious as well as the cocktails that we made. There were two in our party and four in the other, which was fun meeting others from a different part of the country (U.S.) The chef was very knowledge about Mexican cooking and traditions concerning the dishes we made.

This experience was delightful! Cooking in someone’s personal kitchen felt super homey and there was a ton of food on the menu! It did take a long time to make all of the courses, even with 10 people, so don’t show up too hungry. You’ll eat around 8 or 9

Wonderful in-home Mexican cooking experience. Chef was a great teacher. The trip to the market to pick out our food was fantastic. It was an incredibly fun experience. I highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic, hands-on and immersive experience. We took a short walk to the local Mercado to purchase fresh ingredients for the recipes, and then returned to the kitchen to start cooking. Chef Jose patiently explained each recipe, demonstrated the techniques and then we each had an opportunity to participate in the various steps. The food was delicious. After we prepared the delicious dishes we sat down to enjoy the delicious food. This is a fun class and one to consider regardless of your cooking skills!

I had an amazing time with the cooking class. The host was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and personable to me and the other participants. The experience was great from the start when we were met by our amazing host. She took us through the local market and explained the importance of the market in the neighborhood. When we returned to the place, we were greeted with a clean and amazing kitchen. The rest of the experience was such a great one. Our host was diligent in explaining proper techniques, practices, and ways to make sure we make everything correctly. While we were making everything, we also learned about the history of food in Mexican culture and got excellent recommendations of places to check out during our stay in the city. When we finished, we got to eat everything, and it was some of the best food I had on the trip. I will be recommending this class to anyone I know that is looking for things to do in the city during their travel!

This was a wonderful small tour in a private home that made it even more special. The trip to the market was a highlight as was the opportunity to visit a home and see the Mexican style of architecture

It was such a fantastic evening, although it seems pricey it’s totally worth it, you get to make 3 corses of delicious food, and 2 amazing cocktails! Jose was an excellent host. A really informative and fun evening.
