Mexikanisches Lucha Libre-Erlebnis in Cozumel, Tacos und Margaritas

We had a blast at Barrecitos Luchador wrestling show! The wrestlers were amazing and did a lot of improvising to include the audience. We shouted ourselves hoarse and then were treated to a tasty taco lunch with margaritas!

What a surprise….. my expectations were so low…. But I was pleasantly surprised …. The team but on a great show, food, facility….. all put together with good performers 10 out of 10

I booked this for a cruise port stop in Cozumel with my family, my husband and two boys (4 & 8). We had THE BEST time here!!! It was very fast and easy to get to, the place was clean and well prepared for us, no waiting right to our seats with a drink! We got he kids a couple waters and snacks and they were very reasonably priced. The show started and we were engaged and entertained from the jump!! They did intros and a match a short intermission and a grand finale match. All the guys were fun and interactive. They played it up for the crowd, they went into the crowd! It was loud and crazy and so so so much fun!! My boys were yelling the whole time!! We all agreed it was the best cruise excursion we've ever done together. We got the tacos included too and they were delish! You get a chicken, steak and pork taco and another drink. Delish! Then another quick five min ride to the port. Easy peezy ! Would do again in a heartbeat!

Just go! This show was so much fun and they are all so friendly and accommodating. This is an activity that brings more enjoyment if you allow yourself to let go and have fun. The luchadores interact with the crowd (respectfully). Pros: - clean - arena is air conditioned - souvenirs fairly priced (the masks were often lower than other places) *pro tip- you can take a taxi if you have people in your group that don’t like walking or small children. It if you want to save some $, or just like to walk and see the town, It was very close to the Royal Caribbean and carnival cruise lines that were docked. We walked and it took maybe 10 minutes (less than a mile). It’s on the road that is directly outside the port- super easy. We had time so we strolled along the shops as we went which was fun. When you are getting close it feels like you may be walking into nothing, but it’s there, don’t worry!

2nd time experiencing Luche Libre, but still equally as entertaining! Crying with laughter within minutes! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Mexico. Tacos and Tequilas was a fantastic street food type experience in really pretty surroundings. Gift shops were also stacked with authentic souvenirs and tequilas. Lovely welcoming staff, who really went over and above to make us feel welcome and looked after.

If you come into cruise port, dont way in the taxi line walk all the way out of the court across the street catch a taxi there or you can walk. It is extremely close.

We had the best time at the show! The whole experience was fantastic.

We booked this outside of the cruise ship. Was cheaper this way, only issue was we had to get a taxi to and from but was very easy to do. $20 each way for 5 of us. Experience was awesome. Arena is air conditioned, wasn’t expecting that, so even on the hottest day you are cool watching the matches. Highly recommend my kids loved it

We visited Lucha Libre and we had an incredible time. The team is friendly, they started on time, organized, and an incredible show. The entire location was very clean and spacious. The transportation service from the cruise ship to their location and back was extremely safe and professional. Our driver’s name was Sergio González very professional and kind. I highly recommend this entire experience and hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family did!

SO MUCH FUN! It was an easy transfer from the cruise port. It was actually walkable from the port our boat docked but we hopped in the van for a quick ride. They greet you with margaritas and during the show there is a snack stand on both sides where you can purchase other drinks (alcoholic and non) along with snacks. The show is engaging, fun and funny. They get the whole audience involved. Afterwards they give you really good but small snack size street tacos. I’m a vegetarian and they have that option if you request it. Even though we know how the show goes we would actually go back and do it again. It’s worth the money.
