First of all, I must sincerely thank Parchis Travel!!! Due to a misunderstanding on my part, the bus passed me by, but a staff member personally picked me up and drove me like the wind to the harbor meeting point so I could start the tour. It was a very long but interesting and eventful day. It was translated into several languages during the bus tour through Epirus and also in the monastery. Since the tour starts very early, I really recommend bringing something to eat, even though you can buy something on the ferry. ;) Overall, it was a wonderful and worthwhile tour if you do not want to explore everything by car yourself.
The experience was amazing, we would choose the Tour again and can highly recommend it! The Guide were really fun and had awesome and interesting Stories to Tell!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you had an amazing experience and that you would choose the tour again. It’s great to know that you enjoyed the guide’s fun personality and the interesting stories shared throughout the day. Your recommendation truly means a lot to us. We’re very happy you had such a memorable time and we hope to welcome you again on another tour.
We had a great experience! Well organised, the time allowed in each location was sufficient (given the trip), plus the guide - Spiros - was very knowledgeable, interesting and helpful, especially in a large, mixed nationality group. Not a negative, merely some watch outs for: - the trip to Meteora from Corfu is an early start and (certainly by what we experienced) a popular one; so, be prepared for being on a full coach with a sailing from Corfu Town. - We made our way (from Ermones) to the docks by car, as pickup points seemed to be key hotels only. - If you're staying in the Sth of the island, be prepared for a significant transfer at the start & end of an already long day. All in all, a cracking trip.
The trip was just great and perfectly organized. The entire tour guide was multilingual and competent in all matters. Getting to know the monasteries and experiencing the historical background is unique. Anytime I would book again with TripAdvisor.
Wonderful place to visit and very interesting, guides were very knowledgeable and engaging. We visited from Corfu and there is a lot of travelling involved approx 4.5 hours each way, so understandably your time is limited at Meteora, we managed to visit 2 monasteries and have lunch in the town, to fully appreciate the area and visit more of the monasteries I would recommend 2 day trip. There are a lot of steps to climb so may be a problem for people with mobility issues.
A very well organised visit to Meteora. A long day but well worth it.Unfortunately the coach developed a technical problem on the return journey but this was handled professionally by the guide and driver and we were soon on our way back to Corfu.Well done to your team.
The island is beautiful the people are very friendly. Buses are very cheap but like everywhere at the moment food and drink is on the increase.
Thank you for the feedback! We all hope that things are gonna get better!
This is something that cannot be captured by pictures. It is like saying the Grand Canyon is breathtaking. Until you see it for yourself you cannot begin to capture the scope and sheer magnitude of these natural monoliths which are home to beautiful monasteries.
A must trip, I travelled with Corfutrips from Messonghi, wonderful travel company and a day trip never to forget.
The trip was amazing, everything about this place gave so much happiness my heat. The nature of the place and the way it has been formed like that is so beautiful. The series’s superb. The tour guide was so sweet and friendly she explained everything we wanted to know. I love it and I would recommend this to all.
