A great experience from beginning to end. Both the owner and our driver had excellent communication leading up to the trip and the day of the tour. We had no worries we would be picked up on time and in the right location. Dimitris was our driver. He has clear communication and is very knowledgeable and was open to answering our many questions. He also made stops when we requested and he suggested a stop at one point. This gave a brief and much appreciated respite from the long drive. We had plenty of time at each monastery to explore, take pictures and enjoy the history and views. Dimitris brought us to a restaurant after the tour and the food was incredible! This is a higher priced tour, but considering the long day, the personal touches, and the knowledge he shared with us, we all agreed it was well worth it. Thanks for a great day and a great tour!

I was nervous about being in a car for three plus hours each way. Melina immediately changed that for me as we had such an engaging conversation about Greek history, Meteora, and the places we saw along the way. I barely noticed how long the drive was. Melina is knowledgeable and prepare me and my cousin very well for what we would see in the monasteries. Melina also had an unusual experience as my Greek family showed up and took us out for lunch. She blended right into that experience. I am very glad I did this tour with Melina as it cut the long commute into a very enjoyable day.

We had a fantastic experience touring the Meteora monasteries with our driver, Dimitris Kakokefalos. The wonderful experience started with Dimitris. He met us on time with a clean, comfortable vehicle and immediately made us feel welcome. During the three-hour drive to Meteora, he shared a wealth of interesting information about the area, the history, and the places we would be visiting. Dimitris was not only knowledgeable, but also exceptionally attentive to our needs. He went out of his way to make sure our group of four adults was comfortable and well looked after, providing extra assistance whenever needed. His driving was excellent—smooth, safe, and comfortable—which made the long journey to Meteora feel surprisingly relaxing. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail contributed greatly to what was a memorable day. We would highly recommend Dimitris to anyone visiting Meteora. He was an excellent driver and a wonderful companion throughout the journey.

We had an amazing day tour to Meteora from Athens with our guide, Nathan. Nathan was one of the best tour guides I’ve been lucky enough to have in quite sometime. He really went out of the way his way to educate us throughout the trip. We truly felt like family on a private tour. Pick up was prompt from our hotel at the arranged time and he explained exactly how the day would go after getting our opinion on which sites were most important to us. We made quick stops along the way to allow for bathroom breaks. Nathan continued to provide fascinating info about Greek history and culture along the way. We were always dropped as close as we could to the sites and then he would promptly pick us back up once finished. The restaurant recommendation was delicious and he got us back safely to our hotel at the right time. I cannot speak highly enough about Nathan and recommend you request him for your tours around Athens! Thanks for an amazing experience!

We got to see breathtaking views in the comfort of our own vehicle and wonderful guide

The view of the monasteries is spectacular - definitely a lifetime experience. Nathan was our driver and he had a wealth of knowledge of the history of Greece and the monasteries. We learned a lot from him. It is a long ride from Athens about 3 1/2-4 hours but he made it interesting and provided stops in between. The restaurant he recommended in Meteora was very good. The monasteries are extremely interesting but require climbing many steps to access them and each monastery charges a separate fee to enter. This was my husband’s favorite tour. If you can manage climbing it is a definite tour to go on.

We had an amazing visit to Meteora with our guide, Melina. The drive was long but Melina broke it up with a quick stop at the monument for Leonidas at Thermopylae. Melina expertly navigated our way visiting three of the Meteora monasteries, which were quite fascinating. She provided us with plenty of opportunities for some amazing pictures and had a lot of insight into the history of each monastery allowing us to choose the three that appealed to us the most. We also ate a nice lunch on an outdoor patio in Kalabaka with a nice view of the valley and unique rock formations. She was great company for the long drive home, sharing insight about Greece in an easy flowing and interesting manner. Most importantly, she got us back to the hotel safely. We booked directly online with the Company, Crisply Local, and it was quite simple and efficient. The communication via WhatsApp was timely and responsive. We were very pleased with this full-day trip from Athens.

We booked the Meteora Monastries private day tour from Athens. We had good communication with the provider. Giorgos our driver, was great and helpful. He made very good suggestions to accommodate my injured ankle. We enjoyed our trip very much and Giorgos drove very well, it was a lovely smooth ride in the Mercedes sedan.

Very enjoyable trip to Meteora. Our driver, Harris was very engaging and full of information about the area and Greece. The ride was comfortable and beautiful scenery. Meteora is a must see/do, the breathtaking scenery and serene atmosphere is a nice retreat from the busy city of Athens. Harris, our driver, also brought us to a local restaurant that had great food and service. Highly recommended this beautiful tour.
