Messina Taormina: Erlebnis des kulturellen Erbes

Beschreibung

Sara was an exceptional tour guide. She took us to the small town where my husband's great-great grandfather was born and we had a fun day learning more about the town and what life was like there in the late 1800s. She did a site visit beforehand and we were met by the vice Mayor, given a private tour of the town church, which was opened specifically for our visit, and got to see the town's museum and local art work. She also did ground work before our tour to talk to locals to find living relatives and even visited the cemetery to look for family member graves. Although we didn't find any family- Sara was the best tour guide and we had a phenomenal experience.
Guide talked too fast . Because of his accent he became hard to understand at times. Also our group of 22 became too large for him to keep track of. Otherwise it was a good tour.
Sabrina was a wonderful guide, and the driver was very skilled on the very narrow and winding streets. We got to see a lot and had some free time as well. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that is was hard to hear everything she said on the ride out to Taormina. We were seated towards the back and people between us and Sabrina were talking loudly, so this wasn't really her fault. If there is a way to amplify the sound system for the back of the bus for future tours, I think it would be good. We were grouped with another excursion who booked a slightly different tour. We were the only ones who had Messina included. Sabrina realized it at the end and asked me if we wanted to go straight back to the ship or go through Messina and she could point out some more sites. She did do that, which I appreciate. We had a wonderful tour though, and we grabbed spots towards the front of the bus after the 1st stop so we could hear her better.
Mariagrazia and team were great travel guides. We enjoyed our tour of Taormina and the Blue Grotto!
What a great experience. Personable, knowledgeable and welcoming on all levels. We greatly enjoyed and appreciated the small group feel and obvious love of each other and their work from the whole team.
We had wonderful tour guides on our trip to Taormina and Messina the driver was Claudia and the guide was Alexandra. These guides were great and everything knowing the history of Sicily we had great weather and the town of.Taormina was great with many little shops and restaurants on a beautiful day. This tour was well worth the money and suggest one other stop in Sicily before we got to the ship we wanted a cannoli so it was right across the way from the ship it was called Ragusa a wonderful bakery with also wonderful cookies.
Maria screams and the driver giacomo were very friendly! It was a great family experience. Maria rita accompanied us on the tour and told us very interesting things. Thank you both very much.
We had a fabulous time visiting the villages of Castelmola and Taormina. Our guide Sara was amazing very helpful and knowledgeable
Very clear instructions as to pick up place. Close to cruise ship and very convenient. Water and snack were provided as were head sets when off the bus. Our tour guide, Mariarita, was great. Easy to understand. Knowledgeable and patient. Tour included free time in both Castelmola and Taormina. Much appreciated. Great company to deal with. Highly recommend.
I like this tour very much. Sara is one of the best tour guides I met. I will recommend this tour for friends and family.
