This was a fabulous tour and a great introduction to Vietnam. It was really great learning about the importance of the Mekong Delta region and getting to see some of the local culture in action. I enjoyed the variety of the transport, however, be aware, for ladies with knee and hip difficulties, getting in and out of boats sometimes proved quite difficult. A big thank you guys to our Tour Guide and Driver for a safe and memorable experience.
What an amazing day we had exploring the Mekong Delta with the fabulous and knowledgeable Jason and his driver ( I’m sorry- I don’t remember your name). So much fun and variety- from boats, bees and snakes to temples and sweet treats. I would highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh.
Great day with Leon, knowledgeable and informative, without wanting to overdo information. Judged. Our interest to perfection. Day impeccably run, prompt, every activity seamless with the next. Of special note the lunch was first class.
Excellent tour with Ben, our guide, and good communication with Jessy by WhatsApp before the tour. We really enjoyed the day in the Mekong Delta! Traveling by multiple boats through the river and tributaries was lots of fun. We visited a honey farm, coconut candy making, a fish farm and had a delicious lunch. Our guides arranged everything perfectly and our driver Hue was very good.
We actually took the Saigon city tour first, and then decided to go for the Mekong Delta 1 day trip the next day, because our guide Steven was very thoughtful and made sure our needs were fulfilled. Since it was a private tour, the time and itinerary was very flexible. We made detours to stop by restaurants or places on our list. For meals when it was included, one of us was vegetarian and he made sure the food prepared was catered to both veg and non-veg.
The private tour is perfect for family. Our guide Loi was professional and patient, given my parents are old, so he try to find quiet route with relatively less walk, very informative and responsive. Everything is well planned and at our own pace. def strongly recommended!
It was a great tour with our guide Hannah. She picked us from our hotel on the time. She even came early. We were going first to visit Pagoda where you can see Buddha temples and then our journey continued to visit some islands. We took the boat till the islands. We had a nice trip with tuk tuk. I appreciate that Hannah choose for us the tuk tuk instead the horse cart, because the horses looked very sad and it was hot outside. We really enjoyed also the short trip with the rowing boat. On these islands you can see also how they are making the coconut candies. We also had a nice lunch at the end of our journey. Every part of our tour was amazing and we strongly recommend Hannah for a privite tour. She is really a great guide for the tour with a good sense of humor.
Long was our local guide for the day. We were picked up from our hotel in Saigon around 8am and then took the 2 hour or so drive to our first stop, Vinh Trăng Pagoda. Beautiful, peaceful temple. We then took a boat to an island where we sampled local fruit and listened to some locals sing traditional folk music and play their traditional musical instruments. This was really nice to see. From there, we took a horse drawn carriage to our next stop where we sampled fresh cacao and checked out the honey bee farm. After this, we went to the traditional coconut candy workshop and got to sample the candy while they were still fresh and warm. Really sticky and chewy like Taffy with a great coconut taste. From here, we rode on a traditional sampan (row boat). Very beautiful and peaceful ride under the trees. After getting dropped off at another island, we walked a little bit through the countryside lined with lots of beautiful tropical trees. We then went to lunch at the Mekong Rest Stop. Food was just ok there. Bbq sticks were served cold. I’m guessing they prepare the meals for tour groups ahead of time. It did rain heavily at some points in our trip but, that’s ok. Can’t help the weather. Also, travelling with my elderly father required us to take some breaks from walking and Long was very kind, accommodating and patient. He was also very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to us. Overall, great cultural experience and made for a good day. Oh, and Ms. Stella, whom we booked our 2 tours with, was great as well. Easy and speedy communication with her over email. She made it a breeze. Thank you!
Excellent tour!! I highly recommend it. Our guide Finn was great, had a lot of info ready, the driver was good, the van air-conditioned. We went to the Mekong Delta, to less touristy places, continued on scooters, by traditional boat through the river arms. In between we stopped at a dragonfruit farm, a coconut “factory” and a shrimp farm. It was really great. Finally we got a lovingly prepared and very delicious lunch in the middle of nowhere in a small restaurant. In total we were 11 Touris. It was worth every penny and a crowning conclusion to our Vietnam trip 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 It was really exclusive, hopefully they'll keep it that way.
Lana was a wonderful guide very helpful and knowledgeable. Was great to see another side of Vietnam. Thank you Lana for a lovely day.
