Bruno was the most knowledgeable tour guide and driver we've ever had. He explained the landmarks, history, political relevance and why it all still matters. Marko was our driver/tour guide. He was great! He really knew the subject matter. He gave us a lot of recommendations of places to go in Medugorje for sight seeing, eating and shopping. This is the perfect day trip to Medjugorje from Dubrovnik. We were picked up at 7:15 at the Ploce Gate, driven to Medjugorge in plenty of time for the English mass at Medjugorge, and then took us to Apparition Hill. We were back in Dubrovnik by 5:00 pm - still a lot of time to roam around the old town. Our driver cum guide Tomislav kept up a continuous narrative on Croatia, its neighbours, and mandarins. He also made the border crossing in and out of Bosnia and Herzegovina a non-event. Truly an enjoyable day, I hope we can do this again.
