Unsere erste Etappe führt Sie nach Bergheim, einem prächtigen Dorf an der Weinstraße, das im Herzen seiner mittelalterlichen Mauern viele Wunder birgt. Anschließend haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die charmante Stadt Ribeauvillé, die ehemalige Hochburg der Herren von Ribeaupierre, zu besuchen. Nach einem Besuch in Hunawihr und einem Fotostopp vor seinem berühmten Brunnen gehen Sie zu einem lokalen Winzer, um traditionelle elsässische Weine zu probieren. Nutzen Sie die Mittagspause im Dorf Riquewihr, einem der bekanntesten der Region, insbesondere wegen seiner privilegierten Lage im Herzen des Weinbergs. Die Besuche werden durch zwei Dörfer fortgesetzt, die auch für ihren historischen Charakter bekannt sind: Kaysersberg und Eguisheim. Diese beiden Dörfer wurden zu den „Lieblingsdörfern der Franzosen“ gewählt, einem berühmten französischen Programm, das jedes Jahr die Lieblingsdörfer der Franzosen feiert. Kaysersberg gewann die Ausgabe 2017 und Eguisheim 2013.

What’s fabulous way to see the Alsace region! It was a long day but a very comprehensive one with a good balance between bus time and free time. The only feedback we would give is that we would have loved a driver who had a bit more energy and passion for the job.

It is an independent exploration with the bus as your chauffeur. The guide tapes on the bus are very informative and the visit to the winery was extraordinary! Our tour guide dropped us off at each location and told us when to return. A lovely tour.

We didn’t really know how this long day would go. Once the audio tour portion began we were immediately impressed. Our driver was excellent as was the tour itself. It was straightforward to find and meet the group, the van was comfortable with a sliding glass roof which allowed for great photos (sit in the middle for this feature) and recharging was available at the seats. The towns we visited speak for themselves - each one prettier than the last. Along with the four we stopped at, there were numerous tiny villages along the way - each with a unique history and vibe. The Alsace wine region is surely where the the word ‘charming’ originated. We found the wine tasting at a small family business captivating and even purchased a couple bottles. If you’re considering taking this tour, do it!

The excursion was very good, but the last stop was a small place that did not warrant an hour to explore it.
