Die Altstadt von Rhodos wurde von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt. Wir werden einige Tore passieren, wir werden durch einige Gassen reiten und seine Schönheit bewundern.
Der Palast des Großmeisters der Ritter von Rhodos, auch Kastello genannt.
Mandraki ist der Haupthafen von Rhodos, wo einst in alten Zeiten der Koloss von Rhodos stand. Heute stehen die Statuen von zwei Hirschen namens „Elefos“ und „Elafina“ dort, wo einst die Füße des Kolosses standen. An der dem Meer zugewandten Stadtmauer befindet sich die Burg des Heiligen Nikolaus, die ihren Titel vom Schutzpatron der Seefahrer erhielt. Diese Burg fungiert als Leuchtturm. Auch werden wir die Windmühlen passieren.
Der Uhrturm (Clock Tower) ist der höchste Punkt der Altstadt von Rhodos.
An der Spitze von Rhodos befindet sich das Aquarium, ein sehr schönes Gebäude. Daneben befindet sich der berühmte Strand von Elli. Auf unserem Weg sehen wir das Gebäude, in dem sich das Casino befindet.
Die Akropolis stand auf dem Hügel, der heute als Monte Smith bekannt ist. Der grüne und schön angelegte Archäologische Park beherbergt das im 3. Jahrhundert v. Chr. erbaute hellenistische Stadion, in dem die sportlichen Wettkämpfe der Alioi-Spiele stattfanden. Diese waren Teil des großen Festes der alten Rhodier, das zu Ehren des Sonnengottes Helios abgehalten wurde. Neben dem Stadion befindet sich das kleine restaurierte römische Odeon. Wie in der Antike finden hier auch heute noch Veranstaltungen statt. Entlang der Isiodou-Straße befinden sich am nördlichsten Punkt des Hügels die Überreste des Tempels von Athena Polias und Zeus Polieus.

We had a wonderful e-bike tour through Rhodes Town! We saw so much along the way, and our guide shared lots of interesting stories about the history of Rhodes. It was a great way to explore the city and gave us a really good impression of Rhodes and its history. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it!

Bicicles were great, Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He also took some beautiful pictures which he kindly shared after, wonderful if you are travelling solo.
We took a taxi from our hotel in Ixia and found the meeting point easily. Our guide, Christos, greeted us warmly, got us set up on our bikes, and made sure we had water. He was an excellent guide — really knowledgeable and very reassuring throughout the ride. We stopped at several points along the way, where Christos shared interesting facts, gave us time to explore, and even took photos that were later emailed to us. It was a brilliant family experience ( 2 adults in 50s and a 15 year old) and such a fantastic way to see the area. Some of the off road paths were narrow and busy, and I quickly learned my balance isn’t the best 😂 but Christos kept everyone safe and the pace was spot on. The route suits all fitness levels, especially with the electric assist for the hills where the views were absolutely stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this well‑organised tour from start to finish — definitely give it a go.
Absolutely amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Rhodes! The e-bike tour was such a brilliant way to explore the city. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of Rhodes to life as we travelled around. I especially loved cycling through the little alleyways and quieter corners of the Old Town, discovering places I would never have found by myself. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing, history and exploring. Finishing the tour watching the most incredible sunset was just magical and the perfect end to the experience. A fantastic way to see Rhodes and something I would highly recommend!
Really enjoyable and unique experience exploring Rhodes old town, cycling down cobbled streets and seeing the beautiful sights. Lots of photo opportunities which Christos takes on his professional camera.
Easy to find host. Guide was very good and knowledgeable. Fun ride through old town (be sure to use your bike bell to warn pedestrians) and into lesser known streets. Great sunset. Would truly recommend.
In the short term a lot seen of Rhodes. Very pleasant guide with lots of facts. Relaxed tour. Very nice that you can do this in a small group.
