We were fortunate to have great weather. The guides got us to the destination ahead of other groups, allowing us to experience the area without interruption. The guides' geographical knowledge was key to our wonderful experience. We spent 2 plus hours on the glacier walking an easy 2.65 miles.

Jason was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions and taught us so much. The glacier was so beautiful and fascinating. I'd go back! They'll help if you don't have super warm gear. The staff were all wonderful and helpful.

So glad I took this tour to hike Mantanuska Glacier with knowledgeable and well trained professionals. They kept our group safe while still providing for breathtaking panoramic and close up views of the glacier. Guides kept the hiking pace comfortable with plenty of time for photographs and glacier discussion. The meal after the hike was delicious and offered a choice of Alaska Delicacies. My wife and I joined the Matanuska Glacier Winter Tour, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Alaska. After all, how many people can say they've actually hiked on a glacier? Our guide, Victoria, was excellent-friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She picked us up at our hotel right on time and, during the two-hour drive, patiently answered all of our questions about glaciers, wildlife, and Alaska. She also made sure we felt safe and comfortable during the hike. Walking on the glacier was an incredible experience. Lunch, water, and snacks were provided, and everything was very well organized. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend this tour.
