Marrakesch - Tagesausflug nach Ait Ben Haddou Ouarzazat

Our driver arrived a whole hour before schedule at 6.45 He was due at 8 am We had no time to eat breakfast and were in a mad rush Our driver told us that seat belts were none compulsory We then got drove into the city where we were told to get off mini bus and wait For around an hour then we were put on to another mini bus with another driver who spoke no English at all or the three other languages of the other passengers on the trip We had no idea what we were doing Each stop was a confused chaos When we arrived at our main highlight of trip No one actually new it was the highlight We all chipped in to get a guide even tho we understood it was time to eat!! We said one hour as didn’t want to keep the driver waiting However if we had known it was the highlight we would have taken a lot longer and not been in a rush We then had to wait for the drivers ‘friend’ to eat his lunch The bus had no air con If it did the driver would not put it on He had a radio on the whole time which was just static and still kept it on even when asked to turn it off It was almost 40 degrees No air con With a radio with just static The driver then room is to a movie set which was not on the itinerary at all Then the police stopped us and the driver pointed at my husband and demanded he provide his passport and pay the police 300 mad as he did not have a seat belt on There were 7 of us and none of us had a belt on Yet my Husband was forced to pay 300 no option out of it The trip took almost 14 hours We would not recommend it to anyone sorry!!

Ahmed is very punctual and helpful since he picked us up at the meeting point. Everything was great. Then we asked him to stop at a restaurant and stop. And he recommended we eat. It has been a pleasant and phenomenal experience.

After Ait Ben haddou I suggest you go on the road to Fint to discover the oasis where several films are shot then go back after the khadija film studio and go down to spend 1 or 2 nights in a magical place OUED NOUJOUM known to European insiders - relay of silence and beauty of the site good restaurant typical rooms with all the comforts of a 3-star and a hamman with black soap and peel and then massage room - the Fatiha masseuse is very professional- Congratulations to the owner solange Stevenet

I originally booked this trip as it seemed to be the only trip to Ait Ben Haddou without going to the film studios - something I had no real desire to do. It wasn’t until we got near Ouarzazat that we were told we were going to the film studios, details that were omitted from this ad. Also, if you did not go into the studios you were essentially stuck in the car park for an hour waiting for everyone else (not the driver’s fault). Decided that since we were stuck we might as well go in, and it was a waste of money. Our tour guide at Ait Ben Haddou however, was really great and informative, he even showed us around his grandfathers house as well, gave a great insight into the town. But the whole film studio visit is tedious and just made quite a long day with travelling much longer.

Superb day. Excursion to Ouarzazate via the old caravan route, visit to Ait Ben Haddou, magnificent kasbah. Thanks to Hamed Imouyarh, our driver, for introducing us to magnificent landscapes, taking this route off the beaten track. . Departure from our hotel, we left in 4x4, comfortable and air-conditioned car Good behavior, very considerate, Hamed was available and attentive to our various requests (taking photos, purchasing, camel ride, etc.) Thanks to Hamed for his kindness. I would definitely recommend and use Green palms transport tours again. It was a well organised trip from as soon as we booked, and it kept us updated by text all the time, we even got upgraded to private tours, what a bonus. The trip was very long but our driver Ahmed imouyarh was a fantastic company full of knowledge not just about the trip but the morroco and the berber life. He was such a good driver, and we felt safe all the way. Nothing was too much trouble for him. If we wanted to stop for coffee, we could have nothing felt rushed. Ahmed made the trip
