Ein Tag voller Überraschungen und Erlebnisse. Heute fahren wir in die Windstadt „Mogador“. Kurz bevor Sie Essaouira erreichen, ist dies das Land der „Argan-Kultur“. Hier haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Frauenkooperative für Arganöl zu besuchen, wo das Öl gewonnen wird, das für seine kulinarischen, kosmetischen und medizinischen Eigenschaften berühmt ist. Wir werden gegen 11 Uhr in Essaouira ankommen und dann mit unserer Erkundung der Stadt beginnen. Essaouira war von vielen Zivilisationen geprägt – einschließlich der portugiesischen Besatzung, die einen Großteil seiner Architektur beeinflusst –, aber es ist immer noch eine kleine, schöne Stadt mit viel Geschichte. Aufgrund seiner Größe und seiner charakteristischen blauen Türen, getünchten Wände und seiner Lage wird es auch als Marokkos „Juwel des Atlantiks“ angesehen. Ihr Besuch umfasst die Mellah – das jüdische Hauptquartier – und den Strand. Es gibt ein jährliches Festival der „Gnawa-Musik“. Am Nachmittag fahren wir zurück nach Marrakesch, wo unsere Tagestour entweder in der Nähe Ihres Riads oder des Platzes Jemaa El Fna endet.

After more than forty years as an airline pilot, I’ve been fortunate to travel to nearly every corner of the globe, both as crew and on my own. On our way to Essaouira, we stopped and saw how the famous Moroccan Argon Oil was made. Once we arrived in Essaouira, we were surrounded by a beautiful landscape of ocean and local culture. It was a really amazing experience to see the local fisherman selling their fresh catch! The food was delicious and our guide was incredible. His passion for the town he grew up in was evident! At the end of the day, we were able to ride camels on the beach! It was wonderful!! Everyone at Imperial Tours made us feel like we were VIP travelers and I would definitely recommend using them. Having a trustworthy tour guide in Morocco is a must as trying to navigate it your own would be close to impossible. With them, we were truly able to immense ourselves in their beautiful culture.
