Marrakesch bei Nacht Tour

We had booked this tour for the first night of our trip (honeymoon) and, unfortunately, didn’t end up having the tour. The tour started at 19:00pm - we arrived at 19:02 due to a local telling us of a “closure” in the souks and causing us to change our route (difficult if it’s your first ever time in Marrakech!). I contacted the guide when this happened and said we would be there shortly - no response. We then arrived and couldn’t find the guide/group - attempted to contact again with no response. Eventually accepted that they had clearly gone on without us so requested a refund. The guide finally responded saying they started without us and agreed to the refund. We thought there would perhaps be some understanding of people navigating the city (especially at night time when super busy!) but not even 2 minutes was given. Very appreciative that the refund was agreed promptly.

super nice guide, competent, proud of his culture and who knew how to transmit this love of Marrakech He was relaxed, guided us through the medina, for an incredible gastronomic memory We were able to taste many different dishes. very interesting to hear about the cultural importance of food and the dinner that followed took place on a rooftop overlooking the entire medina. experience to do

No contact from operator before trip and I was at meet-up point at Ali Hotel at Marrakesh at 19:00. I have waited there for 15 minutes and left a message to tour operator via TripAdvisor’s inbox message. There was no responses. Thus will have to request for refund.

A very interesting, history tour with a knowledgeable guide. We thought we would look more at the markets but it was more about the history of Marrakech which was great.

Our guide Ahmed was great he took great care to share the local history and showed us the many souks within the medina. We sampled olives, dates and soaked up the cacophony of colour, sounds and smells. It was a memorable experience.

We booked this tour to learn more about the history of Marrakech and explore the souks and medina with an experienced guide. Ismail was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer all our questions. He gave some good tips and explained how the medina comes alive at night which it certainly did. A fantastic cultural experience with olive and sweet treat tasting followed by traditional tea and soup in a little Moroccan cafe
