Vom Strand in Tamarindo aus genießen Sie eine 4,5-stündige Segeltour entlang der spektakulären Küste Costa Ricas auf einem der eigens gebauten Katamarane. Alle sind offen und geräumig, so dass die Passagiere bequem den blauen Blick auf die Küste Costa Ricas mit ihren unberührten Stränden und grünen Dschungel genießen können. Genießen Sie die Aussicht mit einem kalten tropischen Getränk, das von der Crew zubereitet und serviert wird, während Sie die Meere nach Delfinen, Meeresschildkröten, fliegenden Fischen oder sogar einem Wal durchsuchen. Bei Ihrer Abreise segeln Sie gemütlich entlang der Gold Coast und genießen einige der riesigen, reichlichen und abwechslungsreichen Meereslebewesen entlang unserer Küsten. Einige der Meereslebewesen, denen Sie begegnen möchten, umfassen Wale, Delfine, Schildkröten, fliegende Fische, Rochen und eine Vielzahl von Seevögeln. Wenn es die Bedingungen zulassen, werden Sie auch ein paar Angelschnüre vom Rücken werfen, in der Hoffnung, sich in einen der vielen Wildfische einzuhaken, die unsere Gewässer bedecken. Schließlich fährt der Katamaran in eine der vielen einsamen Buchten der Gegend und Sie haben die Möglichkeit, im warmen costa-ricanischen Wasser zu schwimmen. Schwimmwesten, Poolnudeln, Schnorchelausrüstung und Stand Up Paddle Boards stehen zur Verfügung, wenn es die Wetterbedingungen zulassen. Für die Passagiere, die nicht nass werden wollen, ist der Katamaran ein großartiger Ort, um im Schatten des riesigen Hauptsalons zu entspannen oder in der Sonne auf einem der vielen offenen Deckbereiche zu entspannen.
Ein leichtes Mittagessen wird um ca. 16:30 Uhr serviert, einschließlich der folgenden: Grill-Hühner- oder Pasta-Salat, gelber Reis, schwarze Bohnen, frische Obstteller, Chips (Doritos, Lay’s, Cheetos und Tostitos), frisch hergestellter Pico de Gallo und hausgemachte Schokochip-Kekse nach Omas Lieblingsrezept. Schnaps: Flor de Caña Rum, Absolut Vodka, Jack Daniels Whiskey, Tanqueray Gin, Jose Cuervo Tequila und Cacique Guaro. Wein: Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon und Frontera Sauvignon Blanc. Dann segeln Sie über die Bucht und zurück zu Ihrem Ausgangspunkt. Sie kommen am Hafen an, wenn die Sonne sich dem Horizont nähert und der Himmel in einer Vielzahl von Farben explodiert. Die Passagiere steigen auf dem Sandstrand von Tamarindo oder Playa del Coco aus.

It was well represented by how it is promoted. We did not see any whales or dolphins but the sunset was beautiful.
My husband and I had a great time. The guides where very knowledgeable and the drinks and food were great. We saw turtles, dolphins and lots of different kinds of birds. The snorkeling was ok, the surf was a little rough so we only saw a little but the sunset made up for the lack of underwater experience. We have taken this tour 2 other times and definitely recommend it for families, couples and groups looking to enjoy the sights from the ocean. There where a few smaller kids 2-4yo that I don't think enjoyed it as much. The boat isn't that big and as a parent I would hate to chase a toddler around on a moving potentially slippery boat.
If you enjoy boating and drinking, this is a great option. If you really want to spend your time snorkeling, try something else. They drop you in very deep, choppy water with a pool noodle and give you a few minutes to enjoy the fish.
Fantastic trip. Well organised and friendly staff. Food was tasty and served prompt at 4pm. Bar was included. My husband enjoyed the cocktails and me some white wine. The Snorkelling was excellent loads of colourful fish.i had to borrow a snorkel which was straightforward and they had enough for whoever needed them. And Dolphins were spotted on the way back. Just a tip, you don’t need shoes and we got wet on the boat tender back. And the sunset!
We added this experience to our honeymoon, and it was a great choice! The crew was friendly, and there were staff walking around offering drinks from the very beginning, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only thing to note is that there was no snorkeling.

Awesome morning excursion!! Captain and crew were so hospitable. Lunch was very good!! We were able to see Dolphins and Sea Turtles on our cruise.
We had a most incredible day sailing, sunning, swimming and snorkeling with Marlin Del Rey. Pickup on Coco Beach was super easy and the value for the trip was excellent. Scenery is priceless. We saw a pod of dolphins jumping out of the water while we sailed. The boat was super comfortable, with plenty of space. Our family's favorite part was anchoring and swimming around the most gorgeous cove. Our son jumped off the boat about a million times with joy. The lunch, drinks and crew were all top notch! Would highly recommend to others and is a must do experience while in the guanacaste beach areas.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The biggest concern was safety—there were no life jackets available, which is a fundamental requirement for any snorkeling excursion. We had also requested a vegetarian meal when making the reservation and were assured it would be provided, but no vegetarian option was available during the trip. That was frustrating and avoidable. The snorkeling itself was underwhelming. There were virtually no fish or other marine life to see, making it feel like a waste of time. On the positive side, the service from the crew was friendly, and the drinks were good. However, I wish the guide had spent more time sharing information about the local geography, wildlife, or history, as that would have made the excursion much more engaging and worthwhile. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to our expectations.
The whole experience was relaxing and a great opportunity to get out on the water. It was a great experience!!
