09:00/14:00 Uhr Abholung vom Hotel und Weiterfahrt nach Inanam zum Mari-Mari Cultural Village. Bei Ihrer Ankunft werden Sie begrüßt, um Sie auf Ihre Zeitreise ins prähistorische Borneo vorzubereiten. Vor dem Betreten des Dorfes ist eine Einweisung in die Dorfregeln ein Muss. Sie werden vom Häuptling begrüßt und durchlaufen eine individuelle Willkommenszeremonie. Anschließend können Sie über die Hängebrücke nach Mari-Mari gehen. Das Mari-Mari Cultural Village ist eine Kombination aus fünf Volksgruppen: Dusun, Rungus, Murut, Bajau und Lundayeh. Jede Volksgruppe hat ihre eigenen exotischen Geschichten und traditionellen Tänze sowie ihre Geschichte. Das Mittagessen wird im Mari-Mari selbst serviert. Nach dem Mittagessen ist es Zeit, sich von den Dorfbewohnern zu verabschieden und ins 21. Jahrhundert aufzubrechen, während wir Sie zu Ihrem jeweiligen Hotel zurückbringen.

We visited Mari Mari on an excursion from our ship. Mari Mari Cultural Village has a collection of huts representing 5 of the tribes of Borneo. Each hut is stocked with items you would find in the represented village. Outside each hut we received a food or drink that would have been made in the village. I didn't get our guide's name, but he was awesome! After touring all the huts we gathered in a large tent were we got to watch dances from the five tribes. Very cool! I highly recommend visiting Mari Mari.
We went to the village from a cruise ship tour and they did a great job handling a big crowd. Got a real sense of history and culture of Borneo. Go and enjoy your, food, drink and traditional dancing.
An amazing tour. Our driver was on time, the drive to the village was only about 40 mins, and the bus was in very good conditions. At the village, the tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and approachable. The dancing ahow was colorful and entertaining. The food provided was ver good as well. I highly recommend this tour.
Wow wow. A very well organised place with lots of history and interaction. From tasting food, drinks to a henna tattoo. This place should be visited by all.
A well set up area in the bush with homes of different tribes. Our guide (Ariel ? the name he gave so we could remember ) who spoke perfect English had a vast knowledge and understanding of the history and tribal differences. He also had a great sense of humour. He was very attentive to all members of the tour group. We enjoyed sampling the different foods and drinks and the entertainment including the indoor bamboo trampoline
A wonderful cultural experience! Great care is made to ensure a very realistic representation of various original Borneo tribal history. The culminating performance was exceptional!
