Das Mardi Himal Base Camp ist ein neu eröffnetes Trekking, bei dem Sie die spektakulären Ausblicke auf die Annapurna-Kette genießen können, ohne die Menschenmassen zu überfordern. An fünf Tagen wandern Sie durch Rhododendronwälder und entlang grasbewachsener Bergrücken, die mit rollenden Wolken und Wildblumen bedeckt sind. Entlang des Weges begegnen Sie Yaks, Ziegen und Büffeln. Während sich der Pfad windet, kommt sporadisch der großartige Machhapuchare (Fischschwanzberg) in Sicht. Die Teehäuser befinden sich entlang des Weges und bieten einfache Unterkünfte mit herrlicher Aussicht und einen großartigen Ort zum Ausruhen und Essen nach einem anstrengenden Trekking-Tag. Diese Wanderung erfordert mäßige Kondition, da jeder Tag 3-6 Stunden dauern kann. Vom Mardi Himal Base Camp und vom Viewpoint aus ist eine Reihe schneebedeckter Berge in Sichtweite, die sich sehen lassen können. Der Rückweg folgt sprudelnden Bächen durch ruhige Wälder, bietet dann einen herrlichen Blick auf üppige Täler und Reisfelder, bevor er sich durch ein lokales Dorf schlängelt, in dem lächelnde Kinder Passanten begrüßen.

I booked a trek through Trek Around Himalayas from Pokhara and they were able to set me up with a great guide for a 4 day trek up to Mardi Himal Base Camp. They offered 2 options: hire the guide and pay as you go for food and lodging, or a package deal, everything included. Opted for the package deal and it worked out great. Although I think the other option would have been fantastic as well. Prices were competitive. I wanted to do the trek a little quicker than many and that was no problem. Trek Around Himalayas was adaptable, not pushy, informative, and supportive. I had a very positive experience working with them and would book a trek through them again. Will recommend to all friends trekking in Nepal.

Though I didn’t have any experience with trekking, I jumped into this adventure and did not regret it! Was wonderful, all the way had nice views and a nice spiritual energy. Some places through the forest were really magical. The tourism team were attentive and helpful always trying to do the best route for me and the guide was patient and a nice company.
