We had a fantastic four-hour walking tour through New York, packed with highlights, interesting stories and fascinating insights into the city. The tour took us through DUMBO, across the Brooklyn Bridge, past the Municipal Building and through the Financial District and Ground Zero. We also used the subway several times, which made the experience feel even more authentic and gave us a glimpse of everyday New York life. One of the highlights was Grand Central Terminal, where our guide shared plenty of fascinating details about the architecture and history of the building. Throughout the tour, we learned so much about New York’s architecture, history and the stories behind the places we were seeing. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. There were lots of great stories and interesting facts, and it never felt like we were simply being taken from one sight to another. The tour was very well organized and the four hours were filled with a great variety of experiences. To top it all off, we stopped at a traditional pub, which was a perfect opportunity to relax, have a drink and continue chatting about New York. Overall, it was a very full and varied program with an excellent guide.
