Verbringen Sie bis zu 2 Stunden mit einer Manga-Lektion von einem professionellen japanischen Manga-Künstler auf Englisch. Diese Lektion kann an das Können des Schülers angepasst werden, sodass Sie, egal ob Sie Anfänger oder erfahrener Manga-Künstler sind, etwas Neues lernen und die Erfahrung genießen können. Die Lektion enthält Manga-Werkzeuge wie Manga-Papier, Manga-Stifte und -Tinte, Bildschirmtöne usw., die für Ihre Verwendung vorbereitet sind. Alles, was Sie tun müssen, ist, sich selbst mitzubringen. Die Lehrerin ist Nao Yazawa, sie ist am bekanntesten für ihre Manga-Serie Wedding Peach, die zu einer gleichnamigen Anime-Serie gemacht wurde. Sowohl die Manga- als auch die Anime-Serie wurden in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Seit 2008 unterrichtet sie Manga-Workshops (auf Englisch) international, in Deutschland, Dänemark, Österreich, Kanada und den Vereinigten Staaten. Sie schrieb/zeichnete auch How to draw Manga-Bücher, MANGA Drawing Deluxe und Drawing and Painting Anime and Manga Faces, in Englisch und mehreren Sprachen.

Me and my kid came to this manga drawing class without any knowledge on how to draw manga and we got a very enjoyable experience of learning how to draw a manga character. The instructions were easy to follow, also the teacher shared tips on what to see and do while visiting Japan. We left with our drawings and a simple instruction booklet.

A really interesting and fun class with Yazawa-sensei! She is very knowledgeable and explained a lot of cool things about how and why manga is drawn using particular techniques. There are some basic foundational lessons + applications of body mechanics that make even a complex artwork seem easy! At the end of the lesson, I left with a fantastic drawing souvenir - which turned out far better than I expected - a testament to the excellent teachings of Yazawa-sensei! For me, this was probably my favourite activity in Tokyo! If you are a fan of anime and manga, I'm confident you will feel the same way after a manga drawing lesson!

My 12 year old manga enthusiastic son and I loved it. Even without previous knowledge you are very well guided and draw a portrait of your own manga character within 2 hours. It gives you a lot of background knowledge about different positions and sizes of e.g. eyes depending on the age and gender of the manga character. Thank you very much

Brilliant experience. Guided tutorial through drawing a manga character. Beginner friendly, I had little drawing experience and they were patient with clear instructions. I came away with a piece of art I was happy with and good memories. Highly recommend

I booked a private lesson for my 17 year old son and me. I'm a complete beginner but my son is at an intermediate level. Nao-san tailored the class very well for both of us. She encouraged and guided him to try out his own ideas (I followed templates). He was impressed with her skills and how she demonstrated techniques effortlessly on the whiteboard eg showing how with only a few changes you can change a mood or character completely. I really enjoyed trying the g pen and special manga tools. Thank you very much Nao-san!

A different and fun experience! As a person who knows nothing about drawing, the teacher was very patient and simple to understand why it is for beginners! If you are more pro also gives you very good tips. In the end we left with a nice memory of Japan, something original! Highly recommended if you like manga or anime
