Berg Kultur Natur Geschichte Die anstrengende Wanderung um 8156 m Manaslu, den achthöchsten Berg der Welt, ist geografisch spektakulär und kulturell faszinierend und wurde 1991 offiziell für Touristen geöffnet. Obwohl der Hochpass in dieser Region Larkya La (5100 m) nicht schwer zu überqueren ist, ist die Wanderung um Manaslu nicht schwierig ist schwieriger als die meisten anderen Wanderungen, da die Wände des Buri Gandaki-Tals an vielen Stellen senkrecht stehen, wodurch eine große Menge an verschwendeten Auf- und Abfahrten über die Kämme oder auf Regale zur Umgehung von Klippen erfolgt. Außerdem ist der Weg rau und steil und hängt oft buchstäblich an einer Klippe hoch über dem Fluss. Daher wird diese Wanderung nicht für diejenigen empfohlen, die die geringste Tendenz zur Akrophobie haben. Der größte Teil der Wanderung um Manaslu findet in einer Region mit starkem tibetischen Einfluss statt, da die Menschen hier direkte Nachfolger tibetischer Einwanderer sind, die sich Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts hier niederließen.

Overall a great trekking trip. Everything was well-organized and we had an amazing time with our guide, Pasang and porter Zambuk. (This is actually our 2nd trip with Alpine Club Of Himalaya and with Pasang (we'd did EBC 3 Passes previously and wld recommend as well)

We came back again for the manaslu circuit, after having a great experience the previous time with ACH and Pasang Sherpa during our EBC 3 Passes trek. Sujan was very helpful in accommodating our pretrip requests and was flexible with the itinerary. You just need to ask and confirm ahead of time. We were also able to be flexible with the plan while on trek - Manaslu is a long trek after all - and that was where our guide Pasang helped a lot with. We decided to shift some rest days around to make it across the pass before the bad weather hit. The crampons that Pasang brought were lifesavers during the Larke Pass day due to the presence of ice/snow on the high pass and on the way down. Thanks again to ACH, guide Pasang Sherpa and our porter Zambuk for a successful completion of the trek.

We did the 13 day Manaslu circuit trekking and we enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to the organization by Alpine club Himalaya as well the amazing guide and porter Passang and Rossang. Before and during the trekking we received clear information so we knew what to expect. The agency is very involved before and during the trekking. Also, our safety was a high priority for both the agency as well the guide and porter. The trekking itself was amazing with beautiful views, lovely villages and basic tea houses for overnight stays. The personal touch at the end with receiving nice local souvenirs was much appreciated as well. We would highly recommend this agency if you’re looking for trekkings in Nepal.

My trip to Manaslu was wonderful. I spent 14 days in the paradise of Manaslu. Thanks to the team for the support and the luxury they provide in every experience. The translator spoke English very well, and I was able to understand everything perfectly. The places I visited were comfortable and the food was good. Thank you! The flights to Nepal were already booked. We wanted to do the Manaslu trekking and after my meeting with Sujan at the holiday fair in the Netherlands, the first contact was made. After that, there was frequent contact via email and whatsapp. This was extremely professional with a personal approach. In the end I could also arrange the Manaslu draw through him. I am extremely satisfied with the fast and focused service. The quick action and reaction. The professional approach with a personal touch. All in all, I can only recommend this organization! And gets it absolutely 5 stars!!
