Das Berbermuseum, das 2011 unter der Schirmherrschaft Seiner Majestät Mohammed VI., König von Marokko, eröffnet wurde, ist im ehemaligen Malatelier des Künstlers Jacques Majorelle untergebracht. Es präsentiert ein Panorama der außergewöhnlichen Kreativität der Berber (Imazighen).

Mehr als 600 Objekte, die Pierre Bergé und Yves Saint Laurent vom Rif-Gebirge bis zur Sahara gesammelt haben, zeugen vom Reichtum und der Vielfalt dieser lebendigen Kultur, die auch heute noch sehr lebendig ist.

Our driver, Rachid, was punctual and courteous in our voyage to the Majorelle Garden and St. Laurent and Berber Museums. It was easy to coordinate pick up from our villa and he was able to drop us back off after we were finished. Going the extra mile, he even recommended a lunch spot for a part of our group who said they enjoyed their meal! This self-guided tour took about 2 hours, which was just enough time to appreciate the sights and sounds of the Majorelle Garden. and the YSL museum. We went early in the morning so the crowds were not particularly dense.
One day in advance we received a message via Tripadvisor. The Berber Museum was temporarily closed. It was suggested to give extra time for shopping. We didn't go into that. There has been no further compensation for this admission ticket. Communication with the driver was smooth. Appointments for pickup were correct. There was no water in the bus, while this was in the description. Jardin Majorelle was very nice and worth visiting. The YSL museum was previously limited. You'll get through pretty quickly.

We offered additional shopping time as an alternative, but we understand that this did not meet your expectations. Regarding the museum ticket, we are sorry for any disappointment caused. We also appreciate you bringing the issue of the bottled water to our attention.
