It was definitely a great experience. Covered everything you would probably want to see without all the walking.
So, listen, we are not the type to complain much, and we find ways to make memories in even the oddest moments…but, that being said, this was a strained experience. We bought tickets for a noon departure for maid of the mist-goat island- & cave of the winds. Yes, it was the 3rd of July, on the 250th anniversary of our country and we knew to expect crowds. But, the crowds and delays were not an issue for us. We felt mislead in our purchase…our “3 hour tour” (hum Gillian’s island theme here) turned into 6.5 hours!!! Our guide, Maureen seemed exhausted and did very little actual tour-guiding or even talking on the bus about historical/interesting facts of the area. Our times were all majorly delayed at the various experiences, and we felt overwhelmed and misguided at most times. Our guide seemed to put forth very little effort which was noticed by all families on the bus, yet she “tip-shamed” everyone who short changed her. Our family opted to tip her in an average range regardless, mostly because of our own values but many did not tip her at all. I hope Maureen was just having a bad day, and that she will find a way to help tourists have a more enjoyable experience in the future. Happy 4th Y’all!

Had a great time, everything was organized and went smoothly. It's not a really long trip. You will be wet and cold 🥶, we stood on the top deck.

This was a really great experience that I’m glad I got to do with my kids. Niagara Falls is so peaceful and beautiful. Will be planning another trip to come back in the Summer.
I thought the trip, Maid of the Mist, seeing both falls, and Cave of the Winds was great. Jim our tour guide was insightful, told great stories and had a good sense of humor. He gave us time at each stop, and did not rush us. He gave us ideas what to do on our own, like seeing the lights of the falls at night, fantastic, and whirlpool rapids, fantastic, and suggested where to go to see the fall leaves, also great. I would recommend this tour to anyone. As I told my wife, I will remember this trip the rest of my life. Sincerely, Dave McLane
