My wife and I travel a lot, and this was our best trip so far. We contacted Global Connect for a private tour of the Silk Road cities: Tashkent → Khiva → Bukhara → Samarkand → Tashkent. That direction was Anvar's suggestion, and it turned out to be the single most valuable piece of advice we received. Samarkand is the cherry on the cake, and we think you can only fully appreciate it if Khiva and Bukhara come first — they build up the history and the context, so that arriving in Samarkand at the end feels like a culmination rather than a starting point. Anyone planning this trip should route it this way. Anvar took care of all the logistics and of every request we made, including several that came only a week before departure. He adapted their standard tour to what we wanted without any friction. We arranged everything by email, which made it easy to discuss details around the clock, with no time-zone stress and no misunderstandings — every answer in writing. The whole team was lovely: always available, always kind. The guides in each city were excellent, genuinely knowledgeable about their own city and about the wider history of ancient Central Asia. The drivers were attentive, always on time, and happy to adapt to our plans. We had a lot of fun and we strongly recommend Global Connect.

Global Connect organised the best 15 days tour in Uzbekistan. They organised all the transport, transfers from airports and rail stations, very good hotels with breakfast, English speaking guides, some meals and also drivers through out our tour. Any questions were answered promptly and everything ran on time or even earlier. All the staff associated with Global Connect were friendly, polite, helpful and at times went out of their way to make our journey very easy and comfortable. This is my first time joining a private tour, originally due to the need of having a LOI for my visa, but then came out a fantastic experience, I can quickly use WhatsApp talking to the operator knowing how to book a opera ticket for my evening and my tour guide even helped me to pay and book the ticket. The trip can be fully customized, I later become friends with the driver , we had a lunch together at a wonderful scenic spot and he help me to take many photos. Each of the tour guides in different cities gave me wonderful introductions although I actually study a lot before joining the tour, the tour guide in Samarkand can even know Arabic and explain me what the 800 year Quran said that is amazing to me. At the very beginning I complained the hotel was too far from the scenic sites or city center but at the end I enjoyed to wander around and know more of the country and so I tried Hijama , Hammon , Bani and even have a chance to visit a local market to eat Glina. I would definitely recommend this tour organizer to anyone who has a plan to visit this ancient country to enjoy Silk Road.

My husband and I had a great time in Uzbekistan. The tour went exactly as planned and as promised. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all our questions. They were clearly very proud of their culture and history. We felt very safe, even when walking at night. The streets were very clean as well. Overall, it was a memorable trip. highly recommended.
