Guide was fantastic! 10:30 tour for Madrid tours shop. Lots of knowledge and great jokes.
The tour was very poorly managed. We spend over 40 minutes waiting inside for the tour to start. Prior to entering the Palace, the guide told us to give him the ear pieces if we left the tour. Clearly, he expected for most of the group to move on without him. Also, 30 people is a huge group and to wait for two people was ridiculous. Also, the meet us instructions required connecting to a third party website and was located inside a store…a block or so from the entrance.
Our tour guide (I can’t remember her name) but she was AMAZING!! Her knowledge was unbelievable and the Royal palace is absolutely breathtaking!! Highly recommend going!

Great tour, no queues, guide was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, meeting point was in the shop not outside where link took us, overall great experience with fabulous guide 😀

We visited in July and chose the 10 a.m. English Royal Palace Skip the Line Tour. The guide was clear and earpieces made it very easy to hear. Group was large at over 20 people. Tour said it would run about 2 hours. We were pretty much rushed through the 30 rooms we saw on this tour. Guide was done with us in 1 hr 15 minutes and then took us over to the Armory room if we wanted to view it on our own time. You could also purchase a separate ticket to see the palace kitchens at about 3 euros. If you want a more leisurely tour I would recommend the self guided head sets that are available onsite. If a condensed version is more your style then this is the tour for you.

Andrea was an excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable and didn’t rush the experience. Answered all questions and shared some historical nuggets we wouldn’t get on a tour by ourselves. She was great. Highly recommended.
