Ihr Abenteuer nach Machu Picchu beginnt mit der Abholung am Treffpunkt zwischen 4:30 und 4:45 Uhr und macht sich auf den Weg zu einer Zugfahrt voller atemberaubender Ausblicke.
Unterwegs werden Sie von der Inka-Landschaft mit schneebedeckten Gipfeln, üppigen subtropischen Dschungeln und alten landwirtschaftlichen Terrassen der Inka fasziniert sein. Der Zug bringt Sie nach Aguas Calientes, auch bekannt als Machu Picchu Pueblo, wo Ihr Reiseleiter auf Sie wartet und Sie auf einer 25-minütigen Busfahrt zur Zitadelle von Machu Picchu begleitet.
Nach Ihrer Ankunft unternehmen Sie eine dreistündige Führung durch die Stätte. Ihr Reiseführer wird Sie über die Geschichte und Kultur der Inkas informieren und die wichtigsten Bereiche der Zitadelle hervorheben. Nach der Tour haben Sie Zeit zum Bummeln und Entdecken von Machu Picchu in Ihrem eigenen Tempo. Zurück in Aguas Calientes haben Sie die Möglichkeit, in einem lokalen Restaurant zu Mittag zu essen.
Ihre Rückfahrt beginnt mit einer Zugfahrt zurück nach Ollantaytambo, die entweder um 16:22 Uhr oder 18:10 Uhr abfährt. Von dort aus sorgt der Bus je nach Verfügbarkeit für Ihren reibungslosen Transfer zurück zum Treffpunkt und schließt Ihren unvergesslichen Ausflug ab.

Isao, our tour guide from Peru Hikers was an amazing guide for Circuits 1 and 3. He called us the night before to prepare for the tour and gave us great insights about Machu Picchu. Not to mention, he was also an AMAZING photographer helping our family get great photos. After the tour he made sure to help us call in a dinner order to be delivered to our train station so that we can eat it on the train back to our hotel.
It was incredible! Isao was an incredible guide and really took all the time to explain the history of Machu Picchu! Highly recommend Peru Hikers for any tours, and ask for Isao!
We were so lucky so be assigned Isao as our Machu Picchu tour guide on Friday 9/4. He was super fun, knowledgeable, charismatic and made the tour super memorable! We booked two circuits, 1 and 3 to get the best views for pictures and history knowledge. Isao knew all the best picture spots and was very patient helping us get all the best pictures. He recommended really good food places and helped us order food for the train ride back to Cusco. He was also very patient with our 12 year old and answered all her questions, his answers and energy really encouraged her to ask more which made her really engaged in this once in a lifetime tour! Highly recommend booking tours with Peru hikes! They handled every single step of the trip for us and we just had to be ready at our hotel door! Super streamlined!
