Ihr Tag beginnt mit der Abholung von Arusha, Moshi oder anderen nahe gelegenen Orten, bevor Sie zum Materuni Village an den üppigen Ausläufern des Kilimandscharo fahren. Genießen Sie einen geführten Spaziergang durch Bananenfarmen, Kaffeeplantagen und tropischen Regenwald, der zum spektakulären 80 Meter hohen Materuni-Wasserfall führt. Entlang des Weges gibt Ihr Fortgeschrittener Einblicke in die Chagga-Kultur, das Dorfleben, die lokalen Bauerntraditionen und die umliegende Natur. An klaren Tagen besteht auch die Möglichkeit, einen schönen Blick auf den Kilimandscharo zu genießen. Nach der Wanderung kehren Sie ins Dorf zurück, um ein interaktives Chagga-Kaffeeerlebnis zu erleben, bei dem Sie lernen, wie Kaffee angebaut, geröstet, gemahlen und mit traditionellen Methoden zubereitet wird. Die Gäste sind eingeladen, am Prozess teilzunehmen, während sie lokale Lieder, Tänze und frisch zubereiteten Bio-Kaffee aus dem Dorf genießen. Ein traditionelles lokales Mittagessen wird serviert, bevor Sie zu Ihrem kulturellen Erlebnis fortfahren.
Nach Materuni fahren Sie weiter zum Ewangani Maasai Village, ist leichter zugänglich und bietet eine leichte Einführung in die Maasai-Kultur. Das Erlebnis, das von Mitgliedern der lokalen Maasai-Gemeinschaft veranstaltet wird, umfasst traditionelle Häuser, Tänze, Perlenarbeiten, Viehkultur, Feuertechniken und Geschichten über Maasai-Traditionen. This was a great excursion and our guide Pemba was very knowledgeable!! The people of the Maasai village were so welcoming and we enjoyed being fully immersed into their culture. We learned so much from them! The hot springs were also enjoyable, but know that if you need goggles or a raft you will have to pay extra once there.
The tour was excellent, and my guide Mpemba was great too! The hike to the waterfall is beautiful; I was able to see chameleons and exotic fruits. We ate delicious native food and made our own coffee. The day was a bit cloudy, but in the end, we were able to see Kilimanjaro, and the guide made sure to take me to the best spot to see it well and take photos. I recommend it 100%!

8 days of safari at its finest, were just two with our driver and guide Samuel from Beach Safari. Every day a highlight, always in the morning! A clean car, despite great mud rides. After Arusha NP , Tarangire and Lake Manyara, we were in the midst of the remigration of felt millions of wildebeest. Samuel also knew where to find the lion families, the chitas and leopards. Highlights in the Ngogoro Crater 4 Rhinos and to top it off came 3 white or bright Rhinos, which even Samuel is astonished by, as it has not seen them for years. The Maasai's show was interesting and was mainly for financial support. Surprisingly the very good all-inclusive food, with emphasis on sustainability without disposable dishes. The accommodations , both hotel and tent were great. A total of 5 stars for the trip and another extra star for Samuel. Herwig & Brigitte

So we thought it will be a group of people taken to Masai village but it turns out it was only us 4. For the whole village to make a dancing show etc. Wonderful experience. Expect to buy some souvenirs from locals at the village, or make little donation.
