Liverpool hat als Stadt so viel zu bieten und natürlich nehmen wir es nicht auf die leichte Schulter, die Heimat der besten Band der Welt zu sein. Auf dieser Tour werden wir alles aufsaugen, was „The Beatles“ zum weltweiten Superstar gemacht hat, und erfahren mehr über die Geschichten, die sie zu dem gemacht haben, was sie sind. Wir werden alles rund um die „Beatles“ aufgreifen und erkunden – von Penny Lane bis Strawberry Field und noch viel mehr!

Wir beginnen an der berühmten Statue der Fab Four – John, Paul, George und Ringo. Dies ist ein wunderschöner Ort am Pier Head von Liverpool direkt am Fluss Mersey. Umgeben von den historischen „Drei Grazien“-Gebäuden gibt es in dieser Gegend viel zu sehen und zu lernen und einige fantastische Fotomotive.
Die Kunstschule, die John Lennon besuchte und die neben der High School liegt, die Paul McCartney und George Harrison besuchten. Hier besprechen wir die Anfänge der Band und blicken zurück auf ihre Zeit als „Quarry Men“ und auch auf ihre Auftritte in Hamburg, Deutschland. Ein wunderschöner Bereich im Stadtzentrum, umgeben von den beiden Kathedralen Liverpools.
Ein Foto am ältesten verbliebenen „Penny Lane“-Straßenschild, das Paul McCartney kürzlich unterzeichnet hat. Wir besprechen unter anderem, warum Paul das Lied schrieb und was es für ihn bedeutete. Dann fahren wir die Penny Lane entlang, während wir uns natürlich das Lied anhören und die Umgebung genießen, die Paul in dem Lied auflistet.
Johns wunderschönes Lied handelte von einem Ort, den er früher besuchte, und zum Glück gibt es diesen Ort bis heute noch. Heute ein modernes Besucherzentrum, ein Souvenirladen und ein John gewidmetes Museum (das noch immer von der Heilsarmee betrieben wird). Wir machen einen Spaziergang durch die wunderschönen Gärten, die John früher oft besuchte, und besuchen auch die berühmten roten Tore – wir genießen die Umgebung und besprechen alles, was mit John zu tun hat.
Ein einzigartiger Ort, der über zwei besondere Bereiche direkt nebeneinander verfügt. Der Ort, an dem sich John und Paul als Teenager zum ersten Mal trafen, und auch das Grab von „Eleanor Rigby“.
Als junger Mann zog John zu seiner Tante Mimi in ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem sie ihn großzog. Jetzt im Besitz des National Trust und wird von diesem verwaltet.
Wohnsitz der Familie McCartney während Pauls Teenagerjahren und Geburtsort vieler ihrer frühen Hits. Paul und John verbrachten unzählige Stunden in diesem Haus mit Schreiben und Proben.
Ringo stammte definitiv aus einfachen Verhältnissen und wuchs an einem Ort auf, der ihm sehr am Herzen liegt. Wir besichtigen sein kleines Elternhaus und auch das atemberaubende Gemälde von ihm direkt daneben.
Wir werfen einen Blick auf den berühmtesten Club der Welt „The Cavern“ von außen – gelegen in der Mathew Street. Die Beatles spielten hier 292 Mal und es war ihr Zuhause und der Ort, an dem sie viele ihrer frühen Anhänger gewannen.
Besuchen Sie die erste Heimat, in der George als kleiner Junge in der Arbeiterklasse Liverpool aufwuchs, und erkunden Sie seine bescheidenen Anfänge.

My husband Dean and I had a fantastic private Beatles tour with Marc. We started at the Beatles statue and then visited Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, along with several other iconic locations connected to the band's history. What made the tour so special was Marc's incredible knowledge and storytelling. He shared fascinating facts, background, and personal details that brought the songs to life in a completely new way. His insights have actually changed the way I listen to Beatles music. I now catch references and meanings that I never understood before. One of my favorite moments was learning the story behind the lyric, "nothing to get hung about" from Strawberry Fields Forever. Now I can't help but giggle every time I hear it. Our tour guide was exceptional. He knew all sorts of Beatles history. As our tour progressed he played Beatles music significant to where we were located. I.E. played Penny Lane on Penny Lane road. At the end of the tour he dropped us off at a pub where we enjoyed Fish and Chips, and then walked back to our ship, after he gave us specific directions first. He told us we were lucky doing the tour early for the traffic wasn’t bad. Well done.

We only had one day in Liverpool since we took the train up from London. This tour is an absolute must for not only Beatles fans, but also anyone interested in history. Our guide, Mark, rightly told us that you cannot understand the Beatles and their music without understanding Liverpool and our city tour was so insightful. Lots of cool surprises, We then took in all of the Beatles sights and were in no way disappointed. Mark was so knowledgeable and full of personality.
