The walking tour was very good. I would not recommend the boat tour. We did not have a guide pointing out the sites.

Isabella was a bit late meeting us - despite asking that we meet 20 minutes before our chosen tour time. When we got started we, along with the other couple said we’d been in Lucern for at least a day and had already walked over/taken photos of the chapel bridge. She took us anyway, which was fine because she was able to give us more information including showing photos of before the various fires that damaged/destroyed parts of the bridge. Then we continued the tour by going to see the church - she didn’t have much information about it and didn’t have any supplemental photos to add in her information. She took us to see the lion statue and told us the story as well as the lore around the boar. We then took a shortcut to the city walls through a mall entrance. She talked about how part of the city wall was destroyed after a decision made by the council in 1890 - when asked about how they felt about WWI coming so soon after destroying walls built to protect the city, she didn’t seem to know. She then walked us to the marina to catch our boat tour. The boat tour was a disappointment as there was no information at all about what was around the boat and what we were seeing. It was more like a ferry with a quick tag on the other side of the lake. We wouldn’t do this tour again as we didn’t think it was worth the price tag - especially given the ferry-like, no-information boat experience.

We accept any positive feedback from our guest which could make us improve our guide performance but what we do not accept are lies! We had another couple in the tour who wanted to cover the tour description and we could not change it just because of you! that is common sense! The boat is a lovely ride around the lake and Isabella explained to you about the mountains which you will see from the lake cruise and shared with you all the information about the lake and its surroundings! Title is inaccurate as it says boat tour in title and part of description and another part says no boat. While the locations are well worth visiting the commentary was repetitive in each spot and could have moved along better

Unfortunately not worth the $150 cost per person. We had difficulty locating the tour guide, as he did not have a sign identifying himself. Walking tour could be done on your own. We were given vouchers for the lake cruise, but not acumpanied and got no explanation of what we saw (very unprofessional). Not sure what I gave them 3 stars.
Dear Jeff. We are a group of local professionals with a big passion about history, arts, culinary and outdoor activities. We do not need to have a huge touristy , disturbing sign when the meeting point is easy to find and we always find our guest very easily. We began the tour on time and visited all main sited and described. The 1 hr. round sightseeing boat ride is very scenic and your guide shared with you all main information about what you see around the lake. We wish you happy travels! :) P.D. By the way, you forgot to mentioned that you never answer to our correspondence by email, text message and WhatsApp! :)

Merlin was a wonderful tour guide. He showed us the best spots of interest throughout old town Lucerne. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the beautiful city of Lucerne. The boat ride around Lake Lucerne was picturesque and provided a restful end to our tour.
