Puerto Vallarta Luxus Yacht Tour : Schnorcheln, Open Bar und Mittagessen

This event is somewhat misleading- before booking, I read other reviews and looked at the photos and was under the impression this was a much smaller, intimate experience than the 30+ people that were there. You meet at the port and huddle with 100+ other people while waiting for the boats. There are additional fees that took the total much higher than advertised and we were not allowed to bring our own snacks or drinks. Two of our members were vegetarian and asked to eat a little early- they were served last and it was basically bread, crackers and dip. We are a very large party and were squeezed into the back while groups of 1-3 were prioritized on top by the captain or in the front of the ship. The event is like a Disney experience where you’re asked to stop and take photos constantly. We were not allowed shoes anywhere, including the “Private” beach with 3 other boating groups where the sand was very very rocky. Because there were so many other groups there, we had no where to sit as the beach club blocks of sitting access! The fish were cool but again it was mostly a photo event to make more money when they sold them to us later.

The service was amazing but we didn’t get to see the arcos de mismaloya like it was advertised. The snorkeling area by Majahuitas was great and there’s plenty of fish and we saw a stingray. The music on board was not great, just stick to one genre and make it upbeat to get everyone involved.

It was fun, but they were very pushy about their photography. I don’t know why they so desperately want to take your photo. Also, they add a 20 dollar fee that really should be included in the price.

Overall it was a good time. The boat is better than a catamaran, but not quite luxury. Also, the snorkeling area is pretty small and the beach is very secluded. Sometimes a lively crowd isn't bad..the drinks were great and the food was better than average. Very good guac and cheese dip..

We had a Good, attentive, enjoyable experience from the time we got on the boat until we got off of the boat.

A very pleasant place with good service and a wonderful atmosphere, a great spot for this type of gatherings.

This tour was really good—the crew really make sure you’re comfortable, and they make some pretty good drinks too. I RECOMMEND you get a dry bag; halfway through the tour, you get off the boat and go to this small island. They can put your valuables in a box and swim it to the island for you but just get a bag. The lunch is pretty good; fresh fruit, a sandwich for the meat eaters and a salad for the herbivores. Beautiful weather, easy vibes, and all-you-can-drink…do this tour

It’s total waste of your time and money. If you are into snorkeling and look forward to seeing some beautiful fishes, coral, or just have a chill trip to some beautiful beach on a yatch/boat, do not book this trip. They take you to a spot with “some fish”, throw some bread to them, and that’s it, there isn’t a lot to see at the spot, don’t trush the photos. They rush you to the water, rush you back to the boat, in less than 20 mins. Safety is a big concern. There are gears, but no explaination on how to properly use them. A friend of mine were given a too big of a life vest, she couldn’t swim properly and tried to get use to the water, so i asked this Alex guy to switch the life vest, and he argued with me that she “couldn’t swim”, instead of helping her and get her out of the water. According to these guys, knowing how to swim = know how to swim, dive, use all snorkeling gears like a professional, if you can’t do them all, good luck, or stay on the boat. You may got stung by jelly fish also at this spot. They then take you to a beach, and leave you to swim to the shore. There is a guy with a motor boat that can transfer people from the yatch to shore, but you can’t use it. Either you swim, or stuck on the boat. The beach suppose to have an open bar, but if you buy this tour, you can only have either watermelon juice or lemon juice. If you want something like a magaritas, guest what, you have to swim back to the yatch yourself. Once you are on the beach, these guys from the yatch crew would keep annoying you with asking you to do poses, so they can take photos with their drones and cameras, then guest what, if you want the photos, you gotta pay them. Otherwise, they post these videos and photos on social media, so you are their product. They planned it so that it’s hard for you to take your phone with you to shore and take photos, they would say they give you some phone protective bags, but they turn out to be the black gabage bag. Once they rush you back to the yatch, you will be served a small portion of cold dry hard sandwich. Nothing about this tour feels luxury. The tour took 5 hours but i wished it ended sooner. This Mr. Alex would finally shamelessly asking for tips with his bucket hat, what a jerk! Will never go with Vallarta Adventures ever again.

We took this tour on April 23rd...such a great day! We were able to walk to the pier which was great. Paid the pier fee which was 35mxn so no issue. Boarding process was smooth as was the rest of the tour. Greeted by the crew with smiles, a fresh fruit bowl and drinks!!! Beautiful scenery all around. The snorkeling was good (not Caribbean good but still good). The yacht was lovely, clean and easy to get around and being a smaller group it was nice to mingle somewhat. Lunch was good as well. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much and the staff were great!
