Der Perdicaris-Park, auch bekannt als Rmilat-Wald und früher als Villa Aidonia oder Ort der Nachtigallen, ist ein 70 Hektar großer öffentlicher Park im Stadtteil Rmilat in Tanger, Marokko. Es liegt an den Nordhängen des Hügels Jebel Kebir mit Blick auf die Straße von Gibraltar, zwischen dem Schutzgebiet Kap Spartel im Westen und dem Königspalast Jebel Kebir im Osten. Es ist nach dem berühmten griechisch-amerikanischen Ion Hanford Perdicaris benannt, der es in den 1870er Jahren schuf und dort Mitte 1904 beim Perdicaris-Zwischenfall entführt wurde. Heute ist dieser Park beliebt für Picknicks, Sport und Panoramablick auf das Meer von seinen hügeligen Wanderwegen.
Die Kasbah von Tanger liegt im oberen Teil der Medina. Mit anderen Worten: Um die Kasbah zu besuchen, müssen Sie sich auf den Weg zur Medina machen, einem kleinen Universum voller Leben, und dann durch die steilen Straßen zum ältesten Teil navigieren. Die ehemalige Zitadelle stammt etwa aus dem 10. Jahrhundert und obwohl sie nach und nach umgebaut wurde, hat sie immer noch genügend ursprüngliche Eigenschaften bewahrt, um Sie in die Vergangenheit zu versetzen.

From the first moment, Reda welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel like we were with a friend, not just a guide. He planned the whole day perfectly for us and for the kids. We started by discovering the *Kasbah* and the beautiful *Old Medina*. Reda told us amazing stories about every street, door, and hidden corner. The history came alive thanks to him. We also visited the *archaeological museums* and learned so much about the heritage of Tangier. The highlight of our trip was definitely *Cap Spartel*, where the *Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean*. The view was magical, and Reda helped us take wonderful family pictures there. After that we went to the *Caves of Hercules*. The cave and the view of the ocean were absolutely stunning. The kids loved the legend of Hercules that Reda explained to us. What made the day even better is that Reda also took us to some nice local shops. *We actually bought some beautiful things* and souvenirs to remember our trip. He gave us good advice and helped us get fair prices. Reda is professional, kind, patient, and knows Tangier like the back of his hand. He took care of my whole family and made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. If you are visiting Tangier, please don’t miss the chance to do a tour with Reda. Reda is an outstanding tour guide! He organized a fantastic time in Tangier. He picked me up at the airport and we then watched Morocco beat Canada (my home country) in the World Cup! The next day started with a panoramic tour of the city that included stops at the park, the lighthouse, camels, the Hercules cave, and more! Then we walked through the Kasbah and the Medina and he was very patient with me while I shopped for carpets! He even took me to a fantastic hidden seafood restaurant for lunch that was so delicious! We finished with a rooftop dinner experience with views of the sunset and the Medina. I can’t recommend him highly enough! The best tour guide ever!!
