Great private cultural experience with Mohamed and his team, properly organised & structured, adaptive to customers needs and highly knowledgeable in the Egyptian history. Mohamed takes time to explain you rightly the needed details. Thanks to Mohamed and his team for their professionalism and hospitality.

Our excursion to Luxor was top-notch. Starting with our driver who already pointed out interesting things (such as the Bedouins) or sights on the trip there and back. Furthermore, our guide Mahmud Mansour ensured an extremely pleasant day. He usually told us the most important information beforehand in a shady spot so that we did not have to stand in the blazing sun for too long. In addition, he always left the options open to us as to which shops we actually wanted to visit, and we were thus able to manage our time well and spend a little more time at one sight or another. In addition, after the tour of the most important parts of the temple complexes and the historical contexts, he always gave us some free time to take photos or to take a closer look at things. In the Valley of the Kings, he provided us with enough water and made the heat easier to bear with one joke or another. Overall a very nice day.

Anyone that goes to Egypt should do this trip and book with this company. We had the most amazing time our driver was a gentleman called Mohammed Fouad and our tour guide was a gentleman called Mohammed Zidane they was so friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was a qualified archeologist and explained about Egypt's past and hieroglyphics and lots of interesting things. They made our trip perfect. The monuments are so amazing, television doesn't do them justice.

Our drivers (Ashraf and Ashraf) picked us up promptly from our hotel in our private, air-conditioned minibus. The five-hour drive to Luxor was comfortable and the driver checked in to ask whether we needed rest breaks. We collected our tour guide (Mohamed) and proceeded to Karnak Temple, our guide discussing historical facts as we travelled. Our guide led us through the entry process and ensured we were not bothered by any unsolicited sellers, escorted us around the temple, explaining key features to look out for, and then gave us free time to take photographs of this jaw-dropping structure. Wow! We enjoyed a gorgeous lunch on the River Nile - expertly timed to pick up from a riverside restaurant where staff handed over trays of piping hot, delicious food onto the boat. Our guide served the food most courteously, truly making us feel like VIPs. We then proceeded to the Colossi of Memnon, which are certainly a sight to behold - and colossal! Again, lots of time to take photographs before proceeding to the star of the day - Valley of the Kings. Again, Mohamed expertly guided us through the entry process and explained our options re: which tombs to visit. Three tombs are included with your admission (you choose) and others are available at an extra cost (we chose Tutankhamen and Seti.) Guides are not permitted to escort you into the tombs, so Mohamed guided us to each one, explaining what to look for before we entered. His key advice was valuable - "don't hand your phone to anyone and don't follow anyone". We saw many tourists conned into handing over money to seemingly well-meaning people who appeared to work there! I don't understand how this is allowed to happen at such sites! Suffice to say, the tombs were breathtaking, with the exception of Tutankhamen's unfinished resting place. However, his mummified remains are now back where they belong, so that was worth the extra fee. Overall, this was a long but fantastic day which took us several days to digest as there were so many 'wow' moments. Mohamed was such a thoughtful guide - knowledgeable, charismatic, helpful, patient, security guard... he even brought small notes anticipating we may not have the necessary small bills to pay 20 EGP to use the toilets! First class all-round and highly recommended, despite the ten-hour round trip from Hurghada!

Insufficient performance Among other things, a boat trip on the Nile including lunch was offered. This point was crucial for us not to book the competitive offer. On the bus we were then informed that the boat trip is not part of the offer and lunch is booked in a restaurant in the city. Despite presentation of the booking ticket, the service was not provided and the guide drove out of the skin because we complained. Basically, the guide was quickly pissed off when we asked questions. So we had to wait at a checkpoint and we wanted to know more precisely why we waited, what was happening there and the guide reacted quite angrily. Too bad, the tour would have been strenuous but interesting and beautiful otherwise.

This was one of the best experiences ever. Picked up in private air conditioned car. Driver very friendly. Drove to Luxor with rest break en route. Picked up guide, Noha, who escorted us for the day. Visited Valley of the Kings, temple of Hatshepsut, lunch on the Nile and temple of Karnak. Amazing day. Special thanks to Noha who was a fabulous guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour and would happily recommend it. We were picked up from our hotel in Sahl Hasheesh exactly on time at 4:45 a.m., which set a very positive tone for the day. Our guide Mohamed and driver Issac were both friendly, professional, and respectful. Mohamed shared valuable and interesting information and historical facts throughout the tour, while also giving us enough free time at each site to explore on our own, take photographs, and simply enjoy the monuments at our own pace. All admission fee were taken care of and we only had to pay for the additional visit to the Tut Ankh Amun Tomb in the Valley of Kings. The lunch on the Nile River boat was a lovely highlight of the day. It was a very pleasant experience, and our request for vegetarian and seafood-only food was well understood and handled thoughtfully. We also really appreciated that our request to skip any commercial shopping stops was fully respected, allowing us to focus entirely on the historical sites. The day felt very comfortable and well paced, and we were dropped back at our hotel around 7 p.m. as planned. Overall, a smooth, enriching, and very enjoyable day. Our trip was excellent. Everything was taken care of and we felt really safe with Mohammed. The vehicle and drive was comfortable and it was great to zip past the large groups at the sites. Being private, it meant everyone could ask every question they wanted and Mohammed was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great day trip.

We chose this trip based upon previous reviews and it was definitely the right choice. From the moment of booking everything was excellent. Communication was extremely quick and no questions went unanswered or were too much trouble. We were picked up as arranged and driven by the excellent Hussien ( hopefully spelt correctly). Our guide was Harbi who was amazing at explaining all about Egyptian history relevant to our trip. This started on the second half of our journey from our hotel in Hurghada to Luxor (at 5 in the morning we were not really awake enough to take much in so needed the coffee stop first!). Information was given specific to the places we were visiting just before in order that it was fresh in our minds when we were looking around and also so as not to overload us. Lunch on The Nile was fresh and tasty - typical Egyptian family food we were told. We arrived back at our hotel before 8 pm - a long but very worthwhile day to see some of the many wonders of the Egyptian world. You will not regret booking this tour.
