Well-developed route intercalating stops in Lavender Fields and medieval villages

Our guide was nice and knowledgeable, but the itinerary could have been better thought out. At most stops, the recommendation was “there’s a good place for a coffee”—that’s not really why I came to France and booked a guided tour. It was fairly disappointing that we arrived at Roussillon at 12:30pm and the market was in the process of closing already for the day. So we had a two-hour stop there, with no market to visit—essentially the “market tour” had no markets on it. The wait staff at L’Ocrier (the restaurant recommended by our guide) were actually quite rude (not to me, since I spoke French, but I observed and overheard their comments). Also, I was surprised that she didn’t know about the public filtered water fountains around the city—a key fact for travellers on an extremely hot day (generally, I think being able to tell guests about public drinking fountains and toilets is essential). I would have like more time in Buoux because I had only just enough time to visit the castle, so didn’t get to visit the town at all. Especially since our last planned stop in Ansouis didn’t work out — the bridge to enter the town was blocked, and our guide didn’t know what to do. She gave us a choice between trying to go there or another small village, but none of us really knew what to do. So we went to the other small village, and I sat and drank lemonade for 35 minutes…ok…would’ve preferred at that point to have had more time in Buoux, or just to have come back to Aix. I highly recommend the tour operator consider adjusting the schedule a bit to ensure the markets your actually has a market on it.

Great tour that allows you to see several towns in one day. Laurent was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable. Easy way to see multiple towns without a car. The market in St. Remy was crowded, but lively and enjoyable.

What a fun day visiting the countryside outside Aix-En-Provence! Our guide Greg was terrific. A funny, knowledgeable and friendly gentleman that shared endless insights into this beautiful part of the world. The villages were like stepping back in time. The views were majestic, vineyards and fields of lavender as far as you can see! All in, this was a great way to see the beautiful countryside of southern France!

Excellent excursion! In one day, we discovered 4 beautiful villages in the Luberon, with perfect timing. Leana was a top-notch guide: passionate, funny, and full of anecdotes that made the visit lively. A big thank you to her! I recommend ++++ 😊

There were beautiful landscapes, and the villages chosen for this excursion are attractive; however, the guide tended to respond in a haughty manner to questions. We also received a comment because two of us did not want to sit in the front of the vehicle... According to Mr. S, not to name him, there needs to be a rotation, everyone takes turns sitting in front! This made for an uncomfortable rest of the day that ended at 6 PM...

Superb villages to see! We recommend this activity! The ochre path in Roussillon is worth it! Our guide Thomas M was exceptional! He managed very well with the difficult tourists who were with us! Wonderful day! :)

Driver was super friendly and knowledgeable about France and the region. It was a low stress way to see all the best parts of the area! So much easier than driving myself.

Very limited commentary or information about the locations. Our guide was a good driver and Mercedes van nice but we were packed in to every available seat including two in front with driver. Not worth the cost. We were dropped off in each village and told when to return. About all we were told about each spot was where to find a public bathroom.

Very enjoyable tour - and our guide, Marianne, was outstanding: knowledgeable, friendly, an excellent driver, looked after everyone and made the whole day great fun.
