Ihr Fortgeschrittener holt Sie um 9:00 Uhr oder zu einer Zeit Ihrer Wahl in der Lobby Ihres Hotels, am Bahnhof Guilin, am Flughafen Guilin, im Stadtzentrum von Guilin oder an einem anderen bestimmten Ort ab. Bitte teilen Sie uns Ihren Hotelnamen mit, und wir holen Sie von überall im Umkreis von 20 Kilometern von Guilin Stadt ab. (Anmerkung : Fahrer, der auch als Fortgeschrittener fungiert)
Nach einer zweistündigen Fahrt erreichen Sie den Longji-Parkplatz, wo Sie Eintrittskarten für die Longji-Reisterrassen erwerben können. Anschließend geht es zu den Ping’an Reisterrassen, den schönsten Terrassen, die zu den ersten gehörten, die von Touristen entdeckt wurden. Vom Parkplatz Ping’an aus wandern Sie über Steintreppen hinauf zur Aussichtsplattform Nr. 2 durch das Dorf. Unterwegs beobachten Sie das tägliche Leben der Zhuang und ihre traditionellen Holzhäuser. Auf der Aussichtsplattform Nr. 2 erwartet Sie die legendäre Formation „Sieben Sterne mit dem Mond“. Von dort aus wandern Sie auf einem flachen Pfad zur Aussichtsplattform Nr. 1, vorbei an Bambushainen, Reisterrassen und atemberaubenden Hügelblicken. Wenn Sie auf der Aussichtsplattform Nr. 1 ankommen, werden Sie mit einem atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf die Reisterrassen belohnt. Anschließend genießen Sie ein Chinesisches Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant und können dann das Huangluo-Honghair-Dorf besuchen, um das tägliche Leben der Einheimischen zu sehen.
Nach einer wunderschönen Tagestour durch die Longji Reisterrassen werden Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Guilin gebracht. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 2 Stunden, in denen Sie ein Nickerchen machen und entspannen können. Sie werden gegen 17:30 Uhr in Ihrem Hotel in Guilin ankommen. The guide was very knowledgeable and got us to the show at Longji just in time, followed by a nice lunch by the river gorge. He then took us on a very scenic route around the rice terrace which had breathtaking views around every turn and stopped by a local tea farmer's shop where we enjoyed teas and bought some too. Overall an excellent experience that we would recommend to everyone!

We did the tour with a friendly guide who explained us the whole local history very well. He indicated us a restaurant where we ate one of the best dishes we have tasted in China. The car was a little small for my husband who is tall. For a larger group, another car would be needed.

We had Jason as a tour guide and he was amazing. One of the best people we met in China. He was very nice, always trying to help out (eg I felt a bit unwell due to personal reasons and he helped, also got bitten by mosquitoes and he also helped). He was always super flexible and just followed our rhythm asking us always what we preferred to do. He took us also to this amazing tea house on the way after asking us if we wanted. He also took us to this lovely small village before. He gave us a very nice tour through the rice fields. Definitely recommend him! Even my friend that hates guided tours loved the experience

A private tour that could be customised to what you want. The rice terraces cover a large area and there are different aspects to it that would be helpful to know about before you go. Too much to cover in one day.

Had a solid tour with Leo. In my opinion, this is the best day trip to the fields. You get a private driver and English guide for the same price as some group tours. We took the electric car up to platform 2 and walked down to 1, then down to a delicious lunch. Both the car and lunch were a small extra payment. A few things to keep in mind with Longji 1. You’re in the mountains, which means weather changes quickly. And your tour guide doesn’t control the weather 2. To increase your chances of a clear day, aim for end of May to early October. But, again, see 1 3. The long hair show is once a day at 11am off peak (before May) and 5 times / day peak season. I chose to leave at 9am so we didn’t make the 11am show 4. The traditional festival is 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, this year it was April 19, probably very cool experience. But I was too early. 5. There is a 3 platform, much higher, you can take an optional ropeway to, but you’d definitely need a clear day. So, ultimately I chose to leave late-ish at the end of rainy season, and I missed the hair show and had a misty day, but I enjoyed hanging out with Leo, the terraces were peaceful, he was more than happy to answer all my questions, walk with me the whole way, and chose an excellent spot for lunch.

You are right: the weather in the mountains is always changeable, especially in spring. Sometimes you can see the rice terraces clearly, sometimes it is very misty, and sometimes clouds float among the terraces or villages, making everything look miraculous. The water on the rice terraces makes them look like thousands of mirrors. We are local guides and are always happy to try our best to select the best possible food for our tourists. This was an excellent tour! Leo was a knowledgeable and engaging guide who kept us entertained with constant insights and information. Our weather was fantastic and the rice terraces were breathtaking. Leo also arranged for a tea tasting where we sampled all different types of tea. We finished our hike off with a tasty lunch with bamboo rice and bamboo chicken. Highly recommend this tour

Had a really good experience visiting Longji Rice Terraces. My driver and guide Sandy was very friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole trip more enjoyable. I felt safe throughout the journey as his driving was steady and comfortable. He also shared some background and explanations along the way, which helped me understand the places better. You are going to see remarkable view of the rice fields even in winter. Our guide Liao suggested taking the golf cart up and then walking which was a very good choice since it was a foggy day and it just cleared up when we arrived long enough to get some beautiful photos. He also preordered a wonderful lunch for us in the local restaurant.
