Ich habe mich im Musikgeschäft engagiert, mein eigenes Label geführt, als Künstler unter Vertrag genommen und eine Rockband geleitet. Ich habe viele Geschichten erlebt, die ich gerne weitergeben würde! Was zu erwarten ist Sie werden nicht glauben, wie viel musikalisches Talent in eine kleine ikonische Straße gestopft wurde! Die Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elton John, Black Sabbath, die Liste geht immer weiter. Während wir uns durch Soho bewegen, entdecken wir Geschichten von Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, den Beatles (und Paul McCartneys Headquarter!) und wie ein kleines Café im britischen RocknRoll eine Rolle spielte. Nicht zu vergessen die berühmteste Musik-Location in London, die so ziemlich alle beherbergt, die Sie denken können! Sehen Sie, wo die Beatles ihre erste Veröffentlichung auf Apple Records und einen berühmten Comedy-Sketch mit einem Beatle aufgenommen haben. Für diejenigen, die es wollen, beenden wir es dann in einem schönen alten, historischen Englischen Pub, der im Laufe der Jahre viele berühmte Gäste hatte, wo ich Ihnen Geschichten von meinem persönlichen Engagement im Musikbusiness erzählen werde!

Weiter geht es dorthin, wo Brian Epstein in einer schicksalhaften Nacht im Jahr 1967 den legendären Jimi Hendrix aufführte! Sehen Sie sich am Soho Square den Firmensitz von Paul McCartney an. Der britische Rock'n'Roll begann in dieser Kaffeebar, die gleich um die Ecke des wohl berühmtesten Musiklokals Londons liegt, wo fast jeder große Künstler gespielt hat! Genießen Sie den Ort, an dem John Lennon in einer berühmten Komödie mitwirkte. Stellen Sie sich an die Stelle, an der das Cover eines berühmten Oasis-Albums aufgenommen wurde, und gehen Sie dann in das Studio, in dem David Bowie Ziggy und die Beatles Hey Jude! aufgenommen haben. Für diejenigen, die meine persönlichen Geschichten über mein Engagement für die Musik hören möchten: Wir beenden die Tour in einem wunderschönen alten historischen Pub, der im Laufe der Jahre viele berühmte Gäste hatte!

Evren was great! Loved walking in so many famous footsteps through the past 60 or so years. We were able to see bars, venues and studios where many band members got their start and performed. As a fellow Londoner, Evren had many personal stories to share. Besides stepping through rock and roll history we got to see some very cool parts of Soho. We especially enjoyed the ‘after tour’ stop at the oldest pub for a pint and more of Evren’s personal stories.

I highly recommend Evren and his tour! It was like walking around with a friend. He shows the historical spots of London’s rock ‘n’ roll history, of SoHo. Being that my father lived in London during the 60s, as a Mod, it was pretty cool to see some of the same theatres, concert halls, streets, and recording studios that has spoke about. This was the first item on our agenda, to start our week and a half long vacation. Fantastic way to start off our trip. Thank you Evren!

Evran was phenomenal. He offered so much information about the area, places that still exist or have disappeared but made an impact on the music scene; fun anecdotes, interesting historical facts…we felt like we were on a walk through SoHo with a friend. Loved hanging out at the end of the tour, in an old, historical pub and talk music with Evran and our tour-mates. A great way to discover some fun musical and historical information on a not-too-long of a walk. 12 and 14 year olds loved it too!

The tour was great. If you’re a fan of music or the music industry this is a must do while in England. If you’re looking for a place to see live music you will find it on the tour. There is so much to take in on this tour 👍👍👍👍 and the pub stop at the end was a nice touch.
