Loiretal-Tour Chambord und Chenonceau ab Tours oder Amboise

Excellent full day tour of 2 Chateaus, leaving and returning to Amboise. Our guide, Dorian, was very well versed in the history of the Chateaus, and provided great context during the van rides to more information what we would see and hear. A+ thank you!

It was extremely hot out due to la canicule but our guide Dimitri did a great job telling us about the 2 chateaux while keeping us as cool as possible. The pick up and drive was smooth, he handled all the tickets and gave us a reasonable amount of time to see everything. The set up for each spot was Dimitri sharing some history about each Chateau then we had about an hour to wander. It was a really great trip and I'm very glad we got to go and see both of these! It was nice to not drive.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to introduce humor when it was appropriate. Her driving was excellent and allowed us plenty of time to explore the chateaux on our own.

We were picked up by Dimitri . He was friendly, funny and very knowledgable. His visual aids were very helpful. The chateaux were both beautiful as were the gardens. There was a great mix of time with the group and free time. Not too much time on the bus.

Demetrie was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He had a great sense of humour, kept to the timetable but allowed a good amount of free time too.

We had a truly wonderful time with Dimitri as our guide. He has so much knowledge of the history of the chateaus and area and communicates it in such a pleasant way. He is so professional, and fun and takes the time to ensure all members of the small group are engaged. This made for a great dynamic. The scenery on the route is gorgeous and he stopped to point out various significant places. The chateaus are amazing and the lunch was very special. We loved the whole day! Thank you Dimitri! We had the most fabulous tour today with Dimitri as our guide. His knowledge of the chateaus and history of the area was imparted in the most pleasant manner. He is incredibly friendly and accommodating and ensures everyone has the best experience. We loved our day touring the magnificent chateaus and the luncheon was so special. He took time to point out other points of interest along the way and answered all questions. He works hard to make sure each member of the group is involved and as a result the dynamic was great! He’s a careful driver as well. Thank you so much Dimitri! We would highly recommend this very special tour to anyone lucky enough to visit this gorgeous area of France.

It is a long day. The guide gives you a bit of time on your own to wonder around. May have been nice to have a little guidance on where to spend time as one could spend most of the day in one place

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide Camille was bubbly and knowledgable, making us feel right at home. The chateaux were gorgeous and we learned a lot. Something we appreciated about this day trip is that when visiting each chateau, the first half is a guided tour, and the second half you can explore on your own. That felt like the best of both worlds. Our van had 8 total people but was comfortable. We had a blast and would highly recommend this tour to others.
