My friend Sara and I took this tour and we were super delighted. We were clear that of the 4 days we would be in Edinburgh, we would dedicate one to seeing the Highlands, and everything is beautiful, as if it were a fairy tale. We were very lucky to have Jose (the Galician) as a guide and we couldn't have liked it more! He gave us a lot of information, told us curiosities, legends, stories... and all of it enlivened with music throughout the trip that was super nice and very appropriate for everything he was telling us. It was a real delight and, although it was many hours on the bus, they were very pleasant because of all the stops we made. As a suggestion, for my taste, I would make the stop in Inverness shorter and add time to the stop in Pitlochry. It is a beautiful Victorian town, but half an hour there felt like too little, and perhaps Inverness did not offer enough to spend 1 hour and 30 minutes there. Otherwise, this excursion is highly recommended, and if you are lucky enough to have Jose as your guide, I assure you that you will want to take him home, haha.
