Wir erreichen Rannoch Moor, umgeben von Berglandschaften, Seen und Tälern. Wir werden in einem der schönsten und magischsten Täler Schottlands, dem Glencoe Valley, anhalten, wo das blutige Massaker am MacDonald-Clan stattfand. Sie können einige großartige Fotos von den drei Schwestern machen und auch versuchen, einige der berühmten Landschaften aus berühmten Filmen wie Harry Potter und James Bond zu entdecken.
Wir machen noch einen kurzen Stopp, um die drei Schwestern, drei ungewöhnliche Felsformationen, zu bewundern. Die spitzen Grate heißen Gearr Aonach (kurzer Kamm), Aonach Dubh (schwarzer Kamm) und Beinn Fhada (langer Kamm).
Wir werden dann unsere Reise nach Loch Ness fortsetzen und durch Fort William fahren. Der Caledonian Canal und das Schleusensystem von Fort Augustus werden unser nächstes Ziel sein. Sie haben genügend Zeit, um den Kanal zu besuchen und an einer Bootsfahrt auf dem Loch Ness teilzunehmen, wenn Sie sich dafür entscheiden. Vergessen Sie Ihre Kamera nicht! Von diesem Aussichtspunkt aus können Sie einige erstaunliche Aufnahmen des Sees und seiner Landschaft machen. Das Ticket für die einstündige Kreuzfahrt auf Loch Ness ist nicht im Preis des Tagesausflugs enthalten (Ticketpreis für Kunden von LochNessBus.com beträgt: 18 £ Erwachsene / 11 £ Kinder von 5 bis 15 Jahren / 16,00 £ Studenten und Senioren Bürger - über 60). Es gibt keinen Familienrabatt. Die Bezahlung der Attraktionen darf nur mit Karte erfolgen, um den Gruppenrabatt zu erhalten. WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN Die Kreuzfahrt wird am 26. Nachdem wir Loch Ness verlassen haben, machen wir uns auf den Weg zum Commando Memorial, einem Denkmal für tapfere Soldaten im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Wenn der Nebel es zulässt, können Sie von hier aus den herrlichen Ben Nevis, den höchsten Berg des Vereinigten Königreichs, sehen.
Unsere Reise wird im Cairngorms National Park fortgesetzt. Loch Lagann und Ardverikie Castle werden einige der Orte sein, die wir auf unserem Weg nach Pitlochry sehen werden. Dieses Dorf ist voller wunderschöner viktorianischer Häuser und wird unsere letzte Station sein, bevor wir nach Edinburgh zurückkehren. In einem der vielen Pubs haben Sie Zeit, einen Drink zu genießen.
Auf unserer Rückreise nach Edinburgh können Sie die abwechslungsreiche Landschaft zwischen den Highlands und den Lowlands genießen und die Forth-Eisenbahnbrücke aus dem 19. Jahrhundert über den Firth of Forth sehen, ein weiterer Beitrag Schottlands zur Welterbeliste. Zurück in Edinburgh haben wir noch Zeit, Ihnen einige Tipps zu geben, wie Sie Ihre Zeit in der schottischen Hauptstadt verbringen können.

That you spend a lot of time in the bus. The scenery was very nice and the stops along the way we're spaced out fairly well

The Highlands are quite spread out, so some time on the bus is necessary to reach these beautiful locations. Despite typically Scottish rainy weather, the trip was magical. Finding myself in the heart of the Highlands driven by a driving fairy (thanks again Alba) filled my heart with those little joys that you don't always expect in your fifties. The cruise on Loch Ness is pleasant even in the rain because I stayed sheltered inside the boat with a good green tea and Haggis chips.
We enjoyed the long journey through the beautiful Scottish countryside. Our guide Tom made it even more special with his extensive information and enthusiasm!

Our guide Tom Chapman was extremely knowledgeable and kept the day interesting from start to finish! I didn’t realize it was a coach bus situation when we signed up but it was actually ok. The cruise was underwhelming but overall an amazing day in the highlands!!
We had an amazing tour. Tom Chapman was the tour guide and the bus driver whom I can’t remember his name was very helpful and friendly. They are both very patient and professional, always smiling. We enjoyed our day tour and will surely be back.
Adam was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide. He loved his job and it showed. He was a very engaged and enthusiastic storyteller, and I would highly recommend this tour for not only the fun stories, but also the places he told them in.
This bus trip takes you out of the city of Edinburgh and into the magical Scotland highlands. The views are outstanding. Pictures truly do not do it justice. Our tour guide Thomas was phenomenal and very informative. Driver (Chris I think) was so great! I learned so much on this trip. It was a beautiful outing. Keep in mind it's a long day trip (12 to 13 hours) but the views are totally worth it.

The tour guide was excellent. Not a lot of time in Pitlochery. Loch Ness was ok but if you don't opt to pay for the cruise just know you'll have ample time on your hands and there isn't much to do for that extended period of time. Overall it was a convient way to view a bit of the Highlands without the strain of driving yourself : )
