Grasse ist eine Großstadt im Mittelland der Côte d'Azur im Westen des Departements Alpes-Maritimes, 12 km nördlich von Cannes an der Mittelmeerküste. Grasse ist die Welthauptstadt des Parfüms und löst Montpellier ab, dessen Fakultät für Pharmazie die Quelle für die Herstellung von Salben und Parfüms war. Entdecken Sie die gepflasterten Straßen aus dem Mittelalter und die historischen Gebäude.
In dieser prächtigen Fabrik, die im 18. Jahrhundert eine Gerberei war, wurde sie 1926 gegründet und gleich zu Beginn des folgenden Jahrhunderts in eine Parfümfabrik umgewandelt. Es wurde 2013 komplett renoviert und erweitert und bietet eine originelle Reise zur Entdeckung der Geheimnisse der traditionellen Parfümerie, von der Verarbeitung der Rohstoffe bis zur Verpackung der fertigen Produkte. Die verwendeten Maschinen, von Destillierapparaten aus Kupfer bis hin zu denen in Seifenwerkstätten, bieten historisches, soziales und kulturelles Interesse an den Techniken und Arbeitsbedingungen, die bis in die 1950er Jahre in Familienparfümerien herrschten.

Wine, perfume, and fairytale French villages? Say less! 🍷🌸 If you are staying in Nice, you have to book this. It takes you away from the usual tourist spots and deep into the gorgeous Provencal lifestyle. My camera roll is completely full. 10/10 recommendation!

Grasse was a lovely stop where we learned about perfume making. The medieval villages were our favorite part—so quiet, historic, and full of flowers. To finish the day, the local wine tasting was excellent. The wine was high quality and the atmosphere was very peaceful.

Amazing tour begining go end. Billie is a proud local and her love and passion for the region made the tour really special. She's also a very fun person and it felt like you were being shown around by a friend. We especially enjoyed the vineyard tour which was unique and unlike any I had taken before. We also had the best meal of our stay in Gourdon which Billie had reserved in advance. She also provided great recommendations which made our stay better beyond the tour itself. Do yourself a favor and take this tour. If we had longer we would have booked addition tours with Billie and will be recommending it to all our friends and hope to also take ourselves next time we're in the area.

Billie provided my daughter and I with a wonderful trip to Grasse, Gourdon, and a lovely organic, family-owned winery. The region is beautiful, and Billie curated a fantastic experience for us: we had a great day enjoying the sights, scents, tastes, and tactile goods of Southern France. We also loved the balance of learning about the region from Billie and spending some alone-time to explore. I highly recommend this experience!
